I had a regular shaped standing desk for a few years that I inherited from my wife and used when I began working from home. It blew during this lightning storm so I had to go on the search for a new one. I have been so pleased with this el desk I can fit so much more on there, and I'm a hoarder so let me tell you I really stack the stuff on there too. I go up and down multiple times a day and then add no quality issues. Putting it together was easy the holes lined up nicely. Looks great and allows for so much stuff on your desk

It arrived in good condition with all the necessary parts. Assembly documentation was 90+% complete with just a few vague parts easy to figure out and one section was plain wrong but I got it figured out. Overall, assembly took a little longer than planned, but was not arduous. (If I were in my 20s, I'd probably have it done in 15 minutes.) The motor is smooth and operates without any issues when new. I hope this performance continues long-term. All the components see quality. Yes, the top is split into two pieces which isn't a clean look. However, each piece on its own looked nice. And the cosmetic gap between the two halves is just a reality of what it takes to ship this package in an efficient size. No one else seems to notice it enough to comment, because they're too busy commenting about how nice the desk looks. However, after a couple weeks usage, I did ultimately find the little gap annoying when using a mouse. If you don't use a mouse, no problem. If you do use a mouse, then you'll probably want to buy a 55x24 leather desk mat so you end up with gapless surface for smooth mousing. One bit of warning: when you set the height memories on the motor controller, it beeps to confirm your desired height has been saved into the memory button... and that beep is short but shockingly loud to the point of waking up your neighbors three blocks over. Don't say I didn't tell you about this excruciating sound volume! Fortunately, the odds are strong you'll only ever set your memory heights one time, so you'll probably never have to experience it again once you're setup. Excellent value for money.

I really wanted this to work. All I received was one box with the stand. No top. There was no way to see if another box was coming, and we didn't receive it by the end of the day. Marked as delivered. Easy return, just heavyish to drop off.

I would not describe myself as an "assembly required" person, but my best friend is. She was able to put this desk together in less than 1.5 hours. I was then able to set 3 different height adjustments (for my particular needs) in less than 5 minutes from reading the directions; there is an option for 4 different settings. To conserve energy I unplug the desk when it is not in use. As soon as I plug it back up, it digitally displays the height of the last setting. I work from home - even before the pandemic. I noticed that after sitting about 1.5-2 hours I would stand up and get dizzy. Now I alternate between sitting and standing every half and I do not have that health concern any longer. I am more animated when I stand and I think my students are even enjoying their lessons more because of it. This brand is top-notch because of the quality and the sturdiness of the desk. Moreover, it is reasonably priced. There is a spacious drawer with so much desk space that I have room for a desk calendar, a 32-inch monitor, a laptop, a large desk organizer, plus, I have room to write my notes. I waited almost a year before giving a review and I can say that this standing desk has been the best purchase that I have made all year.

my husband got this for his office at home and it was so easy to put together. Great quality. It lifts up and down perfectly super quiet. I would definitely recommend this.
