Axing TZU 4-00 Cable TV adjustable Attenuator with Coax IEC Connectors (0.1-1000 MHz)

I used the atenuater to reduce the signal to my TV set.I had previously installed an amplified splitter to feed my TV and set top box.The STB was fine but caused some problems with THE TV.The adjustment is quite sensitive and needs small adjustments over time to get it just right.

Easy to installReduces the incoming tv signal.Humax box defaults to weak signal when in fact the problem is too strong a signal. It does reduce the strength bu trial n error on unit adjuster.

Philips tvs seem not to like very strong amplified aerial signals and won't tune in. With this attenuator is easy to slowly lower the signal until the tv tunes in just fine.Easy to use and simple solution.

It arrived in a clear plastic bag with no paperwork. Fitting was simple, but the adjuster made little difference when turned, in fact it felt as though it wasn't doing much at all. It only managed to reduce a 100% signal to 92%, not nearly enough. Maybe a faulty product, who knows, anyway it was returned.

I was getting pixelation on my BT Youview box when viewing a recording. After investigation I realised the signal strength was too high. I bought this and the problem was solved. Great little device. No instructions how to use it, but just attach it and slowly adjust until you are happy with picture on TV.

Don't know if this works or not? Due to the angle of the connections, this would not fit on my Samsung 4k Television.

Product does exactly as it is described. I have two attenuators fitted ( one on each of my TVs) , no more scrambled tv reception.Delighted with the product, simple to install and very effective.

It arrived quickly and it simply plugs in between the aerial lead and (in my case) your set top box. Annoyingly there are no instructions on how to adjust it to get a more stable picture.Initially there was no picture improvement, but the attenuator has a plastic screw that I presume you are supposed to turn to tweek the picture reception. After turning the screw in both directions and with increasing 1/4 turn increments, I managed to get a nice stable picture on all channels.If the attenuator had come with instructions with how to use it, I would probably have have given it 5 stars.
