I’m a tattoo enthusiast and I can say this is the best tattoo machine I’ve ever used! I have dozens of machines for different purposes and I can replace them all with just this one! The adjustable stroke is key for its versatility. I mainly use it at its hardest hitting setting at 4.2mm for line work and color packing. I dial it down for grey wash and soft shading. Before I purchased this machine, I would only use coil machines for line work because of their power. I can use this machine to lay down the thickest lines-and in one pass too! The batteries last for hours running constantly. With two batteries, I can always have one charging with the included USB cord. If for whatever reason both batteries die, you can plug into your power supply with the included RCA cord. I always used clip cords before this machine and they would always come unplugged or wrap around the client’s neck. I’m going wireless from now on! Another great feature is that it is easy to clean and sanitize. Its smooth design easily allows pen machine bags to fit over the whole machine without using additional bags or plastic wrap. You just bag it and cover the grip with wrap and you’re done! It’s balanced and feels great in my hand. It’s on the thick side, especially with a grip wrap, but it is extremely lightweight. The motor is extremely quiet, yet powerful. It is smooth running - perfect for hours of use. Having the digital display on the end is perfect! The buttons are easy accessible at any angle. The buttons and bright display are visible and functional through the wrap bag too. In summary, there are no flaws with this machine. If this were the first machine I ever purchased, it would be the only one I’d ever use. It’s extremely versatile for any style of work. It’s definitely worthy of five stars!

Ordered this machine to tattoo myself ,and have just for myself and it is very quiet which is very nice and the changes in stroke is awesome but the battery didnt last long, MAST reached out to me with the best customer service i have ever had with a company and immediately fixed my dilemma!! The machine itself is very superb I cant get over how quiet it is let alone the minimal vibration while tattooing , definitely looking at more machines from MAST

I've been tattooing over 20 years. This machine was purchased in a pinch because my $900 pen needed to be send in for repair. I grabbed this machine and was pretty impressed. A little heavy but pretty easy to adjust to. My only complaint is the ability to wrap it and still be able to adjust the stroke on the fly. It takes a little more time to prep but still a great deal. Mast makes some pretty decent machines these days. Other down side is that the battery life is not very long but again, for the price and having a back up battery, it's not a bad machine at all.

It's just a tiny bit heavy wrapped. I have a Mast Fold 2 Pro which is just about the same machine except no liner shader mode on the Fold 2. So far it's held up great and I've done some fun work with it. I have many machines some that cost a grand and they are no better than this pen at the end of the day. Easy to clean also and you can autoclave most parts. I only wish it came with an additional battery but I get close to 5 hrs on a charge so I can do 2 smaller tattoos on one charge. Great Pen

I am still very fresh to tattooing, (been tattooing for about five months) and have bought some cheaper tattoo pens. I even spent more money on a name brand tattoo pen. That pen broke on me after six tattoos. This one so far seems to be very good quality. It is very quiet and from what I have been told by clients, the pen does not hurt as much as the name brand (sent that one in to get fixed) the pictures are from a half sleeve I did in two sessions. Both sessions machine preformed great and battery life last long. I love that I can change the stroke for smooth shading and harder for lining makes it easier than using two different machines.

Well, as stated, it took over 30 days to get this.. however, live in Alaska. So I know it has to do with USPS and not wanting to put "batteries" on a plane.. however, a week ago, I got a full refund- yet Amazon didn't cancel the order. Instead, almost gifted me this dream of a tattoo machine. It's wonderful. Perfect. I did two tattoos on my partner tonight; and they both turned out great. All line work, mind you. Can't speak for anything besides the 4.2 stroke setting.. however, I can say that I believe this to be a quality product. Needles didn't catch in skin, it was all based on skill & technique. Very happy with the MASS Flip 2. Didn't go through one power supply battery. I'm not a proffesional; far from that.. however, I want to be and this helps me to practice without the annoying external variables; such as cords and a failing power supply. Again, I'm very happy with this product. Definitely recommend. Hit it with a shrimp!!!! 10/10 stars

Great for tattooing.

Started tattooing about 2 months ago and felt ready to upgrade to a more powerful machine that wasn’t too expensive. I was skeptical of the flip 2 because I couldn’t find much information or reviews on it. I took a chance on it and I’m glad I did! Powerful yet quiet machine with 2 modes for line work & shading. It also has the ability to adjust stroke. Works great on practice skin as well as on human skin.

I've been using it for several months now! Does his job perfectly. I love using it for shadows. Definitely recommend!

The product I received is not like the one in the pictures it’s completely cordless, can not be used with a foot pedal.
