overall great camera, but please read about the battery life.
We currently have 6 cameras on our property. We like the ease of use and functioning of the cameras. I like to be able to look on my phone while at work and see if I have a delivery at my gate or if an animal got out. I have had these since 2019 or 2020 (a while), so I feel I can give a honest review. Setting up these cameras into your mobile device or computer can be kind of a pain, but once you have them set up, they are great! The vidoes are of good quality, and you can change the settings to be clear. Night videos can be a little harder to see clearly, if there is an animal running across the camera area it will sometimes come in like a blur. (I have 4 German shorthaired pointers that tend to do zoomies in the back yard area). We have 8 acres that we have cameras throughout. We did install a wifi extender so all cameras could be reached. I have had delivery people show up at my gate and I was able to communicate with them from work through the camera's, there is a lag, but not bad. (I will also talk to my dogs when I am at work as well, they don't care for that! LOL) The biggest problem I have had with these cameras have been battery life. It seems that after 2 years of service, the batteries tend to not hold charges. (There is a 2 year warranty, usually on them) Also, during cold weather, they tend to not want to charge via solar nor power cord. Their customer support is one thing that keeps me buying these camera's. They have been more than generous with problem cameras at all ages. They will communicate with me until I am satisfied with the outcome.

Reliable solar camera with good software
We've owned a few solar IP cameras but they have always been unreliable with terrible software. However, this one is quite reliable with very good software. Installation is simple and streamlined. The battery is built into the camera housing and not the solar panel as our previous cameras which is nice because you can essentially use it as a portable camera or you can simply plug it in via USB-C instead of using the solar panel. Not sure if the batteries are replaceable. If not, I would definitely take off a star. The motion detection works very well and is able to track people, car, and animals as they move and then it will return to it's initial position. It has the option to turn off LED's for more stealthy surveillance. The recordings can easily (and even automatically) be downloaded wirelessly from the camera's SD card to your computer so no need to pay extra for cloud services. There are many configuration options for scheduling recordings and can be configured to "sweep" the perimeter. You can exclude certain areas from motion detection and you can adjust the size threshold of the objects you want to trigger detection. This was on sale for $119.99 which is a very good value for what it's capable of.

Would not connect to home wifi
1 star due to not being able to connect to home wifi. I specificaliy ordered this camera because doc and even reviews said it would. Otherwise may be a good camera. I'll never know. Set up camera and Mac OS laptop client. Followed instructions but it would not connect to ATT router, 2.4/5G wifi 5. The UID entered was recognized as a camera but the client but would not connect("Device Not Found"). After a few hours of trying troubleshooting info on the internet called support. Another 2 or 3 hours of trying the same instructions as on the internet including trying a second (TMobile) router 5G wifi 6 as requested no luck. How many people have second router :). With no resolution support put in a ticket to "super" support email only. Received email saying I "should" use a phone to initially set camera up. Don't have a phone but was going to borrow my wifes but decided too much trouble and no sure it would have been compatible with her old phone anyway. So replied was going to return and did. Next day received another email saying did not necessarily have to have a phone. Too late. Instructions on how to do this were not good anyway. Product doc also sketchy as apparently this phone has previous iterations with no name or version change, so support instructions were originally wrong. As an aside my wife got a digital picture frame for xmas. Set up in 5 minutes including finding and connecting to router immediately. Like I said may be a fine camera just not using or at least setting up on MAC OS laptop, or maybe ATT or TMobile routers. Hope this keeps someone from wasting 6-8 hours.

Solar panels sucks
There's a lot of things that I want to say about this camera first thing first is that yes the 4K is really does work . It brings three options the first option it's low quality then you have balance and then you have 4K even though the 4K could be a bit better but what really sucks about this is the solar panel it doesn't really function because seeing that we are in winter for some reason it doesn't charge enough even if there's a bit of sun the charger on the solar panel is too slow it doesn't charge the camera quick enough and the camera dies when you use the 4K quality or when you record for too long the battery start draining much faster and they should try to fix their solar panels

Hands down the best camera I have ever owned.
Incredibly simple setup. Beautifully designed user interfaces for both Win 11 and Android. Couple that to well thought out accessories for mounting the camera and a really solid camera. The image quality is excellent. I have the camera about 30 ft from my WIFI access point and separated from it by two walls. There is sufficient signal that I am getting perfect functionality. The solar panel seems to be working, but only time will tell if there is enough sunlight during a New England Winter to keep the battery charged. This makes me want to replace my other cameras with Reolink. This camera is not natively compatible with Homeassistant. It can work with Homeassistant using the Reolink Home Hub and the Reolink, Homeassistant integration.

Great picture and features, highly recommended
This camera was very easy to install and has good features. The app needed to operate the features of the camera is really easy to use. It tracks movement of vehicles and humans very smoothly, very happy with this purchase!

Don't believe the battery life or speaker sound
Overall I like this system. It works well and I'll probably order more cameras. HOWEVER, don't believe for a minute the text about 10 minutes of sun getting you a day of use. That probably is only true if you live in zone 8 or above where temps are very temperate. The batteries in these units really don't like temps below 32 degrees F. The last few days we've had temps around 32 for the high and lows around 12. On the days we have full sun, the charge will get up to 22-25% but two cloudy days in a row and the unit shuts off. When it comes back up, if it isn't really strong sun shine it will shut back off before the batter gets any real charge in it. I'm having to bring these inside every couple days to recharge indoors. If you are going to use them in zones 7 and below, you better buy a much bigger solar panel to keep it alive. Sound wise, one of the two units has decent sound output, but the other at max volume can hardly be heard 6 feet away. You certainly couldn't get the attention of anyone 15 feet away. I highly suggest you set these up and play with them at ground level for a few days. I'm really glad I didn't climb up to the 2nd story roof line, install it with the solar panel and think it would just work.

Great Camera
I bought my first Reolink camera a couple of years ago, since than I have bought 2 more. I Love them! I would highly recommend them. App is great, I can view them from anywhere. Love the notification, alerts me when someone is at my door. Customer service is great! I had an issue with the solar panel not charging, and with a show of proof of purchase the new panel was sent! I am thinking of adding another camera. If Reolink would like me to review any of their products, and would write an honest review, I would be happy to
