These types of silicone freezer molds have changed how I've been able to save leftovers, store foods, etc.I made taco soup and had some leftover but not enough to save to eat a third time. I have other molds I put it in and now my husband can grab a bag out of the freezer the night before for lunch the next day at work.I buy boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Cut them in half horizontally. Throw each "breast" into these freezer mold and take out once frozen. Store them in a ziploc (check out Costco's brand of zip lock. They are far superior than the others). I can easily store 10 breasts per gallon bag. Take out however many you need so no more waste.These molds do have a wire molded inside at the top. I bought these because upon researching silicone freezer molds I read where someone said to not fill molds up to the lids or.the lids may become frozen onto the molds due to.touching the food inside. Other molds have the fill line to the top where the lid meets the mold. These do not. Would definitely recommend.

This container really changed the game on my strategy for diet. I can make regular batches of homemade soups and stews with healthy ingredients, and stock them in the freezer for weeks to months. Nice size trays. I use these to freeze my fresh squeezed orange juice to use for my Paleo smoothies. I like that it has a 1 cup and 2 cup marker in each slot. The outside feels like it has a metal rod along the outside border which helps keep it sturdy when holding the tray. You can fill each slot to the top and the lid will fit without making it overflow as the lid fits in top amd doesn't sink into the tray like a lot of plastic containers. The material is sturdy and still allows you to pop out the cubes easily.

Love these! I love cold drinks and do not have an automatic ice maker. So, I've struggled with finding the best way to have ice readily available (ice trays, countertop ice making machines, buying bags of ice). But I struggle no more! Just one of these in my insulated drink mug literally keeps the drink cold for 24 hours! And I only have to refill it every 4 days. I also love the soft silicone as it makes it sooooooo much easier to get the cubes out; unlike other trays with partial silicone bottoms. Your hands are frozen by the time you get them out and the trays (which are plastic) end up cracking. But these are completely soft and pliable and making getting the blocks out very easy... as well as made of a material that you don't freeze your hands holding or pushing on them. Also love the measuring marks inside the cups. I especially love the frame added to the top. It really does help the unit be more firm for moving. I can't imagine how you'd use the ones without the frame. Stuff would be all over before getting it into the freezer. For either design, you do need either a solid surface to set these on, or one of those specially designed ice containers that has the lip meant to hold ice trays on top. These fit perfectly into one of those. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!! One of the best things I've bought in years. I didn't need two (you get two in one purchase), so I gave the extra one to a friend.

Each cup is marked inside for 1/2 and 1 cup. Because of the sturdy frame, does not flop around like similar products. I just started using it, but it looks well made.

Great quality! It’s made of silicone but it is structurally stable. I will be using it to freeze and portion cooked rice and other cooked foods. So far it works great. I was easily able to remove the frozen cooked rice from the mold. I also appreciate the measurement markings on the inside of each mold.
