The book is awesome and an avid reader would love it. Was so skeptical to order after reading the comments of overwriting torn and missing pages but fortunately my book is in a perfect condition.

It’s book two in the Kings of Sin series but can be read as a standalone.I just finished reading it and for me it was an average read. I didn’t like as much as first book in this series but I loved the characters. Kai(MMC) is reserved, controlled and doesn’t like chaos at all. Isabella(FMC) has purple hair and always caught inappropriately joking in public, an opposite of not chaos and Kai. They try to stay away from each other but obviously they are attracted to each other, and they try to resist one another. But eventually they come together, they breakup and then come together again, and it’s happily ever after.😅I swear it’s not that boring, I love Kai and his British accent and glasses he wears🤤 And Isabella has ball python as pet “Monty”. There’s some spicy chapters that I loved it!! I also loved little snippets when they were trying to resist each other😍 like they almost going to kiss each other and back out, Ooof!! That was some slow burn🥵 And can’t tell you other good stuff otherwise it will spoil the book.[Oh yeah!! That pink packs in the picture is glowing c#nd#ms🤣]*Contains explicit content and profanity.*

The story was so beautiful and simple yet so contrasting that it held me captive throughout and I thoroughly enjoyed Isabella

The one thing i did not like about this book was that kai had flaws,they were pointed out too but no effort was made to right it. Nevertheless, it was a good read. Also, the mentions of the twisted series couples throughout the book was good.

This has been one of the most interesting book written so far by anna Huang which mesmerises the readers

Unlike Ana's other books, this one felt a little off to me at first. Maybe the lack of conflict made me stop this book for some days because I can't see anything worth reading. The good things (conflicting things) started and gave pace to this book.I enjoyed the second half of the book more.

So, I was waiting for this book since forever. And I read it in one sitting. BRILLIANT. Kai Young is everything I want. And he READS. And unlike most of Ana's boys he has a moral compass that drifts in the right direction. ISABELLA is perfection. There is absolutely no doubt how Kai fell for her.My most favourite thing, the little snippets of the other couples. I am so excited for Dom and Ale's story because I am such a sucker for second chance romances..Ana, you have OUTDONE yourself for sure with this one.

Just when I think I know my type, apparently I need to add Nerdy, Introvert & CEO to it also heheh! Such a great book, with another great storyline. I feel like many people these days can relate to Isa trying to find her purpose and not knowing her worth. It’s refreshing to read something very relatable. Can’t wait to read the next one!

ARC REVIEWKing of Pride is the second book of The Kings of Sin series, and Ana Huang showed one more time the brilliant author she is. Ana has an amazing writing, it's fluid, cohesive and coherent. I devoured the book in one day and felt completely in love with Kai and Isabella. King of Pride narrative was very good, all of the aspects of the story was very well developed.I felt in love with Isabella in King of Wrath, and I so curious to know more about her. And reading King of Pride, I felt in love even more with her. She was such a good character, she is so funny and lovely at the same time. Her individual development was very well built. I loved everything about her. And her relationship with Vivian and Sloane was very amazing, I love their friendship.I was so intrigued with Kai in God of Wrath and I curious about him. So I was very excited to know more and more about him. And reading his thoughts, his feelings and everything about him, I felt completely in love with him too. I loved how Ana developed his thoughts and his feelings, his individual development was very well developed. He became one of my favourite male characters from Ana.Kai and Isabella relationship was everything, their chemistry was over the moon. They had so much chemistry, and the aspects of the forbidden love was very well built, that it was totally impossible not to be completely in love with them. Kai and Isabella love each other with a great passion, I loved all of their scenes. They are different, but they complete each other at the same time.

Book 2 in the King Of Sin SeriesMCs: Kai and IsabellaOkay… So, I picked this book up right after King of Wrath. And wasn’t sure what to expect ahead of reading it. But I have to say, I should have only expected the best with it being Ana Huang.This book was fresh…. So I started recording small voice memos in my phone anytime I felt I wanted to remember that part or I thought it must be included in my review.The very first thing that I recorded was, how f***ed up it was that, I was literally screaming in my head when Kai was not resorting to blackmail or anything morally grey to get the job done. It just goes to show how much I love a morally grey MMC. But that did not mean I did not love Kai, I thought he was a very welcomed breath of fresh air and I loved how despite initially being hesitant to getting involved with Isabella; Kai was certain from the first time alone that there was no going back now that he had involved himself with her. Traditionally you would get the MMC running away or saying this was a mistake etc etc, but not in this case.This is one of the major things about Ana’s writing that she breaks the norm, and you will not see the same thing from one book to another.Isabella was a relatable character. Her passion and determination towards her dream was so inspiring. Her wanting to make it on her own and wanting to do something that made her happy instead of choosing the easy route and joining her family’s business; it was nice change.The relationship between Kai and Isabella, was so heartwarming even before they actually get together. But it was small things from Kai showing Isabella the private room in the library; to Isabella trusting Kai with her unfinished and unedited manuscript; that made their relationship even more special and meaningful; and it was these small gestures that showed it was more than physical attraction and lust; and to top it all off the hand drawn hearts, pulled at the strings of his heart.On a lighter note, there were many times during this book that I found myself smiling and laughing. And I have to say anything I think of Pride and Prejudice going forward I will think of this book (if you know, you know 😜).Chapter 25, had me laughing with Kai and Dante’s plotting in the disciplinary meeting at the Valhalla club; had me giggling as I was reading it sat at work. On the flip side chapter 26, had me feeling so emotional, this chapter bore witness to the love between Kai and Isabella even more so and they still hadn’t even realised yet to full extent of what it was they felt for each other.I have to say this is my 6th book of Ana’s and I am yet to find a book of hers that I don’t like. Albeit, I was a bit upset with part of this book towards the end, but happy that it didn’t last past maybe 3-4 chapters and really really enjoyed proposal scene in the epilogue.I have already said this before, but will say it again without hesitation. Please pick up this book or any book by Ana Huang, you will not be disappointed.
