Good things really do come in small packages!!
I absolutely love this metallic paint. The issue I have had in the past with metallic paints is that once they're applied, they tend to dull and they don't give the look of metal that I'm hoping for, or they flake off after a while. This paint beats them all. It's a really small bottle, but a little goes and long way and it comes with a very small brush that's in the cap, kind of like fingernail polish. Luckily it was the perfect size for the small details I was working on. My mother passed in 2023 and as we were remodeling our house this year, I found one of her old chandeliers in the attic. I decided to clean it up, embellish it with gold and hang it in my new library sort of as an homage to her. This paint worked beautifully!! AND it looked great with the sections of the lamp that I was using gold leaf on, and that's a rarity in metallic paint! I have bought two now and I'm planning on using the second bottle on my desk and book shelves. I just love it!

Good product
Thin consistency, gold color is really nice not too dark not super yellow, there were no directions or anything but it dries down pretty fast like 30 seconds to a minute it seems like maybe it’s alcohol based so somewhat easy to remove if you mess up it’s a little streaky and sheer but I just went back over it 1-2 times and it was fine. Don’t be like me and spill it though I spilled it on some peel and stick wall paper and then tried to remove it with alcohol which messed up my paper lol

Good metal-like color and finish
It looks so beautiful and more authentic the gold than other paints, which can tend to look more sparkly or shimmery. This has no shimmer, but rather a somewhat reflective surface that looks like dull metal. Not mirror-like, but metal-looking. In this pic I have only applied one coat and still need to apply the second coat.

Just a dab will do!!!
First all the great things about this. You really only need to barely tip the brush in the paint, after, of course, shaking the bottle like nail polish, but the paint itself is thinned and goes A LONG WAY!! I imagine it will last me years given that I don't do much gold leafing, but I just may incorporate this paint into re-furbishing furniture. One coat will cover for sure. I played with it on paper and it was wonderful. I didn't use an artist brush but I think it would work if you use is sparingly. The bad... I was vinyl stenciling onto leather and it bled under the stencil a bit (I take some responsibility here). So on the second part, I put down the stencil and went over it with Modge Podge to seal it and prevent a bleed. Not being patient, I don't think I gave the MP enough time to completely dry so when I started to remove the stencil it was gluey. I stopped, am letting it dry all the way, then I will see if I can use some of my sharpie markers to touch up the bleeding parts. I started to use nail polish remover, which the paint was very agreeable with, but the leather, not so much. I think it's a good product, but try to play with it before you ruin a new leather binder. LOL

Excellent ink!
I used it to improve a ceramic sculpture and it worked perfectly! The ink runs smoothly and it shines beautifully!

Thin like water - Not a bright gold
Nothing like photo. Not the color. Not the rich depth of color. No matter how much you shake this, there simply is not enough pigment. If you poured this out of bottle (as in their photo) it would literally be like water. 3 coats and it does not cover, and I was literally freshening a gold colored item! It should have taken only one coat to add brilliance. Testors just can't be beat. Period. The gold in this product is 'maybe' a burnished gold color. In no way rich gold. So my project on hold. Time wasted. And worse, can't return a misrepresented product? Gold leaf implies a rich deep and bright finish, especially with a rich gold. This is nothing like it. Nothing like photo.
