It has become an essential component of my craft arsenal because of the many ways in which it may be used and the refined nature of its design. Please allow me to discuss my genuine experiences and my ideas about this incredible leather hole puncher. The improved hand punching machine comes with a Leather Edge punch as well as a Prong Punch and a Hollow Leather Punch. Because each punch is designed for a certain function, I can easily generate holes of varying sizes and patterns with any one of them. This puncher covers all the bases, making it a versatile tool that can be used for any leather craft project. It can create exact stitching holes as well as artistic embellishments. This leather hole puncher has excellent construction quality all the way through. The sturdy design guarantees the tool's stability while it is in use, and the aluminum plate increases the instrument's longevity. It offers a secure hold, which makes it simple for me to exert the required amount of pressure without putting undue strain on my hand. The chuck mechanism firmly fastens the several punches in position, avoiding any slips or misalignments that may have occurred by mistake. Because the punch mechanism operates in such a smooth and controlled manner, it is able to make clean and exact cuts through the leather without ripping or otherwise distorting the material. The time saved using this leather press worth every penny! It also makes it very easy to accurately punch holes, make cuts, stamps, install rivets and buttons. The press is constructed well and has enough weight to where it is not necessary to mount to a fixed surface, allowing you more flexibility when working the leather. There are mounting holes if you decide to permanently affix the press to a bench. The pull lever is forward drawn with adequate length to minimize the amount of force required to cut, stamp and affix buttons to your leather. The lever return spring mounts easily and can be replaced if necessary. The chuck is similar to a drill, making it easy to change out your tool bits. The vertical shaft is easily adjustable using Allen wrenches, both chuck key and Allen wrenches are included. Although the bits are easily changed and the vertical shaft easily calibrated, it still requires time and patience on your part to make the changes. This may slow your progress if your project doesn't allow for repeated cuts, stamps etc... The price point of this product and the versatility you get is hard to beat and I highly recommend.

This is a well made product. It well worth it as a purchase. It meets almost all my expectations. It is super easy to use. Set up was a breeze and I can attach it to my work bench so it doesn't move around. I would recommend cleaning all the oils off of it before use. It was not a lot of oil, just remnants of oil from the moving parts. All in all this is a great price of equipment. A++

This was a game changer when it came to cutting and punching. I bought this punch because it came with both hole punch attachments and rounded end attachments. However, after using the punch, I went to change attachments and realized the punch but was stuck way up in the chuck and will not come out. It must have lodged its way up there with the pressure from punching holes. The punches are narrower than the other attachments, but I never imagined this would be a problem. Disappointed that I only got one real use out of it and that the design wasn’t better thought out, but it was good while it lasted.

This has to be the best investment I have made since starting leather crafting. The press punches holes through leather like butter without having to give it much pressure at all. I have been having hand pain and issues with trigger finger from all the hole punching with hand held punches. This is a game changer for sure! Well worth the price.

Hex keys do not fit. This thing was way too expensive for parts the don’t even allow you to use it.

The tools that come with it are far from the best quality, but the press is exactly what I was looking for.

I got this when I realized hand tools wasn’t gonna cut it with biothane (literally) and it’s been great. It was frustrating af to learn how to set it up. I’m still constantly having to readjust it when I swap tools but that’s operator error 🥴 I’ve made a couple dog collars and leashes and the punch always comes through. Also, literally

I mainly use this to cut the ends off Biothane. I bought it so I can put my own cutters in easily. It all works very well. I have mine permanently set up for end punches. It is quite fiddly to change the cutters and if I was just using this machine to do multiple things it would be a pain. It took awhile to set up.

I've never used one of these before so my expectations were pretty open, a little tricky to get the hang of adjusting the height and changing out tools. The engineering has obviously been kept as simple as possible, places where some kind of locking mechanism could have been used just use heavy duty bolts with an allen wrench - which can slow you down if you switch out tools a lot (which I probably will be), but it's something you can easily get used to so long as you're not in a rush and don't mind creating a new workflow for yourself - because using it is way faster, quieter and less tasking than hammering away punching out dozens and dozens of little holes. I've only used it for a few minutes just testing out how it works, how to adjust it, how well all my existing tools work with it, but so far I'm pretty happy. It can with tools, they're just extra and I may never even use them, but they're there. I still could find some major issues, but I think it's well worth the money overall.

Easy to put to together, it's not as big or bulky as I thought it qould be. Easy to pack up and put away, (not that I need to) it's got lots of room to do whatever I need in height for punching holes or whatever. This beats hammering down with a mallet and banging around the noise with my rubber mallet for hole punching and rivets. Perfect! Haven't tried the tools they sent, but not shabby. Good little tools for beginner leather makers. Eould be a good gift to a beginner.
