Perfect fit, great color
Very good quality, not the waterproof hiking shoes, but I didn’t feel I needed them. The weight is good. Support should be good once I try on with the correct socks. Love the color, Brindle/Tea. On the box it showed the color lighter then they actually are, which I’m happy about. The toe box is great. Someone responded to my question if I order a size 8, will it be wide enough, normally wear a size 7 1/2 wide. The gal told me yes they would. I went one step further and called Merrell customer service, and she told me yes, if the review by Amazon and the gal that responded said get the 1/2 size larger then do it. So very happy I listened. They are perfect. I didn’t want to have to return.12-31-23: I haven’t been wearing my hiking boots, which I love, but the laces are to short, they keep coming undone, so when I got back from my walk today, took laces out to measure- round lace at 46” long. There are 5 eyelets per side which is a total of 10. I looked online, 10 eyelets they should have 72” length. Shame on you Merrell. It would be nice to get a free pair of laces from Merrell, but I’m not holding my breath.12-31-23: NOT MERRELLS FAULT, was this old ladies fault, go thing I’m able to laugh at myself at 71 years young. Look I didn’t realize what the length of the lace should be, I thought it was 10 all together, did not know to divide it, so the actual length was what I got. I chose to go up a size, 36”should be correct. They were round laces, and wouldn’t stay tied, so I ordered 72” length, to long, really never bought laces since I always wore mules. I went up to 40” length, and a flat lace. I have neuropathy in my fingers and feel very little. So very hard to tie my shoes, that’s why I was getting mules. I decided to go with 40” so I can double tie them. Thank you Amazon for letting me cancel my order to the correct length, I was able to cancel since wasn’t shipped yet. Thank you Amazon for your great service.

Liking these shoes, great grip on the sole, fit well and comfortable!
I've kind of been in a rut with Keen shoes, but I got two pairs of Merrells a few years ago and they've done great. So I tried these as a "durable everyday walker" since I put in a lot of miles walking dogs, working around the yard and doing various tasks at my job. I'm on my feet most of the day, so I need something that provides good support. They've got great traction soles and they are comfortable right out of the box (although I imagine I will be using my orthotic insert at some point). Cushion is decent and the structure is great, good width and the toebox isn't tight. They are a nice looking shoe all around. I haven't worn them in extremely wet conditions yet, but they are doing fine in wet grass as far as water resistance. For people that put some miles in, these are comfortable shoes that stand up to off-road conditions, variable surfaces and pavement. Will definitely be looking at Merrells in the future instead of just going straight to the Keen store!

Great shoes
I got these shoes for a four day. Hiking trip in Arizona. I was really nervous because I didn’t have time to break them in before we left. We hiked all day and they felt amazing. No blisters. The traction was perfect. We were on all different types of surfaces and they had amazing traction. I could run up and down rocks with no problem. But definitely purchase them again. I don’t foresee having to buy new hiking shoes probably ever again. I don’t go that often in these soles are incredible.

Great quality for a reasonable price
I really love these shoes to be honest. They are super comfortable and sturdy for hiking. I've had these for about a month now and they are great. I hike every week and can walk from 2 hours up to 6 and these shoes hold up support wise. Breaking them in for me wasn't too uncomfortable. They hurt my heals a little bit but it stopped after 3 or 4 wears. I ordered my usual size and they fit perfectly. They can make your feet hot in the summer but it's worth it to have good support during a hike and not go home with aching painful feet. I also feel these are a good quality for the price. Not too much more than buying some sneakers. I also don't think the water proof versions of these shoes would be worth it unless you're running through water or are willing to hike in heavy rain. Hope this is helpful :)

Very comfortable
I was looking for a comfortable trail shoe that would hold up longer than a few months and these are perfect. They’re also decently priced. Very comfortable from the start with no breaking in period and good tread for the trails. I usually wear 7.5 to 8, normal width, and I got an 8 as that was the recommendation. 8 fits perfectly. I will definitely buy these again.

Great shoes
I love the shoes, nice arch, hugs your foot very nice, the shoebox is great plenty of room.I walked two miles today to start breaking them in but not needed, they felt like my old shoes. My husband purchased a pair he recommended them to me.No regrets, I wear a size 9, but I purchased a 9 1/2, fit just right.

It’s a Merrell Moab 3 what more is there to say!
Fantastic moderate hiker. I can’t say anything about hikes over 7 miles, but I have the low and mids and both the waterproof and non water proof versions of this hiker. This particular shoe is the non-waterproof version - yes you desert and summer climate people they are cooler than the waterproof ones. That’s why I have both kinds, when it’s above 80 here and dry I use these. I use the mids if the trail is more intense.I have had H. T. and O Sawtooth 2. What I like about the Merrell Moab 3 is I have better feel of the ground, so yes you feel the ground more than the O brand. At first I thought it was a negative but then realized I wasn’t constantly stubbing my toes like I do in the other brands mentioned. So if you need a low hiker that gives better trail feel this is it. Also I like they are lighter weight. The big win for me on the Merrell Moab 3 is the right balance of ground feel and the stick of the sole to rocks when having to climb over large stones, I can tell exactly where my feet are. The O brand sawtooth II is better for more endurance on trails.

Great price for a great shoe!
The last pair I ordered from Amazon lasted me 3 years of seasonal (spring, summer, fall) use. These new ones arrived just in time as tge heels finally disappeared on my old ones (I'm a heavy heel walker). My favourite shoes!

Great show, too bad about the wrong size sent
Had to return as the show sent to us was an incorrect size, US9W instead of US9. Packaged and sent it back for a replacement. Otherwise great shoe.
