I tried this rice because parboiled basmati rice was recommended to me as a very gentle alternative to other types of rice. It's the first time in a while since I've been able to eat rice without an upset stomach afterward, and the low glycemic index makes it an even better choice. It cooks soft and fluffy in my rice cooker on a white rice setting, and its flavor is neutral enough that it goes well with any type of cuisine.My (kind of unreasonable) issue with this rice is that it doesn't last very long after it's cooked. I'm used to being able to make a great big pot of rice in my rice cooker and going through it over a week or two, but you can't really do that with this rice (suffers in texture and flavor).My other (slightly more reasonable) issue is that I wish this bag was resealable. The bag itself is very thick and sturdy but not very conducive to storage once cut open.

This rice come out great every time I cook it. There is no messing up and it tastes great. I will not buy any other rice. The texture and flavor are exceptional.

it works for diabetic but would be nice if it is resealable once you open it just like some products.it’s more pricey than other items of the same quality so resealing it after opening shouldnt be a problem for manyfacturers to add
