Absolutely delicious!
I've always wanted to try bottarga but most of the products on here get bad reviews. I have to say that this is probably one of the most delicious things I've ever treated myself to. I love seafood In all of its forms and I am absolutely thrilled with this product. I tried it on some eggs scrambled in butter and the flavor was amazing. The umami flavor is amazing, very oceany, mild and like the best caviar you've ever tasted rolled up into one. I will definitely buy another one when I run out! And the seller also included a nice handwritten note :)

So delicious it will haunt your dreams
Excellent quality, prompt shipping, super delicious (if you like bottarga, which I do, but you know, cured mullet roe isn’t for everyone, some people don’t go for a delicate tender umami bomb like a rich golden miso egg yolk that has lain sun-drenched on a beach absorbing heat and the whiff of the ocean causing your mind to inevitably drift to the long culinary history of the Mediterranean with a faint lingering bitterness on the palate)

Cured perfectly
This bottarga is of very good quality, clean great color and very well cured. The best way to appreciate this bottarga di Muggine is quality Italian pasta ( thick Spaghetti or Bucatini ) boiled al dente drain water then off the stove add some olive oil then add a mozzarella cut to cubes mix put in a plate and cover with grated bottarga which will melt while you eat it. Best flavor ever, and healthy. Enjoy Boun Appetito

Meh!
Not the greatest quality. Won't buy again. Could definitely be fresher.

This Bottarga was delicious.
We made a very simple pasta dish with the bottarga. Sauté onions, garlic tomatoes red pepper. After pasta is cooked, add a cup of pasta water to your sauce. Add about 1/3 cup of ground bottarga to the sauce. Stir to make a sauce. Add cooked pasta to the sauce, combine with sauce. I added some fresh spinach on top and mixed that in for color. Put it on a plate and shreds a little more bottarga on top with a little cheese . Eat it up.
