These ear plugs really work
I am a motorcyclist who rides most every day. I have done so for over 50 years. I attribute the fact that I still have normal hearing to have worn ear plugs for all that time. No matter how good one's helmet is, high intensity wind noise will eventually damage hearing unless one uses proper ear protection. I have used many types and styles of ear plugs over the years, and found that what I need is at least a 32 db NRR rating and a plug big enough to completely fill my ear canal in my case a plug that is in the 1in by 1/2in size range, and preferably soft enough to remain comfortable all day. These are tapered for easy insertion, but still fit that size range. I have learned that all ear plugs are not the same. These plugs work really well for me. The are not expensive, they are the right size to completely fill my ear canal when expanded after rolling them for insertion, they are really soft so as to remain comfortable in my ears for all day use, and are reusable if I have to remove them during the day. For my use they are very good. in terms of noise cancelation, they work as well as any I have used, including some that were more expensive. I can recommend them for this use or any less intense use as well.

Excellent for Travelling
These earplugs are just as described and are excellent for traveling. I put a few packs in my carry on for the plane and then a few packs in my check-in luggage for noisy hotel stays. Great quality. Noise cancellation is exactly as described. Worth every penny.

Yeah, they’re pretty good.
Very good at knocking down loud sounds. They take a little longer to expand than most others I have used, but once seated, they are more comfortable than most. I like the fact that they are individually (in pairs) wrapped. I often give pairs to others to use and the wrapper insures that my guests know they are not getting used plugs. (Yuch!) However, the plastic wrapper they come in is really tough to tear open. Guess that’s getting a bit picky, but that’s why I rated them 4 not 5. I’ll buy them again when this box runs out. So I guess that tells the story.

They work fine at a better price . If they ever run out I would buy again.
I got these a day earlier than stated. These work just like the ones at my big orange hardware /lumber store . But cheaper. With this many I wont be needing more for a while .

Disappointed But Found A Solution
I've used earplugs on and off ever since I worked graveyards and needed to be able to sleep during the day. I'm now retired, but occasionally will still use them. The box I had were getting a little old, and these were such a good price, I thought it was time to replace them. Several people complained they were too big, but I don't have small ears and thought they would be okay. The way they are supposed to work is you roll them or squeeze them into a thinner, stiffer tube, which you can then insert in your ear canal. If you pull the top or back of your ear to open the ear canal up a bit it makes it easier. Once the plug is in the ear, the warmth of your body encourages the spongy material to expand back to its original shape. This makes a snug fit and shuts out sound. If you don't put the rolled up plug in your ear, it will still return to its original shape, but more slowly, since it's cooler. The major problem with these earplugs is, they don't stay small long enough. After you roll them, they immediately expand back to full size, making it impossible to insert them. You might just as well not have rolled them up at all. That may explain why several people said they were too big.Knowing warmth played a part in expanding the plugs, I tried keeping them in the freezer until I needed to insert them. I knew I didn't have much time, but this slowed the expansion down enough, the plugs stayed small a little longer and I was able to insert them and make a good seal. The plugs don't freeze and there's no water in them, so they don't feel particularly cold. They are just a bit firmer than when they are room temperature, and this slows the expansion down a bit. They still do not perform as efficiently as previous brands I have tried, but the price and the individual packaging are enough of a plus I will continue to use them.

Earplugs are great!
My 17 year old has a band! Need I say more?? I've purchased these for the band and anyone who comes over to listen or attends one of their "gigs." (My kiddo does have a set of reusable ear plugs that they wear when playing but keeps extras of these in their guitar case). I don't want to have any of these kids with ear damage down the road because they are LOUD!! Which is why I keep these around, everyone has to use them!

Never slept better with these.
I really like this product. It is very effective at limiting sounds. For example I live in a house. With several roommates. That seem to be loud almost constantly. Even late at night when I need to sleep. I put these in my ears. And I was able to sleep completely uninterrupted. Plus the package comes with 200 of these foam ear plugs. So I'm pretty sure I'll be able to sleep well for the next 199 days hopefully. Thank you for this amazing product. I would for surely recommend this product for sleep or any other use.
