Great contents, well explained and a very accessible read.

This book is perfect for anyone, who is on an access course to higher education or currently at university!I brought this essentially for my social work course and will be using it again for university!The book is double the size of a Bible and is packed with everything you need within society and its current issues!Great explanations in depth!Would recommend for home use only due to size!But very practical in aid of assignments and understanding on relevant topics.

This is a fab book for anyone starting out on a sociology degree or any social science degree. I highly recommend this book it's easy to understand and the layout is so easy to follow. It's a huge book so don't let the price put you off, worth every penny and more!

Great book for university but from page 377 to page 468 there a slight tears at the top of the pages.

Big, chunky book. Started to read it but using as supportive material to studies

The quality of product is poor. The book contains pages printed incorrectly (half of content missing). The quality assurance of the product has a lot of room for improvement.

Great book

Ottimo libro di sociologia, a differenza dei pochi e non aggiornati manuali italiani tanto declamati. La sociologia è una scienza aglosassone, e le pubblicaizoni lo dimostrano. Il Mulino pubblica una versione "accorciata" dello stesso, ma non c'è paragone. Se l'inglese non è un problema consiglio la versione originale. Costa uguale, è più aggiornata, e non ha lacune di argomenti basilari: a me non interessava nulla delle relazioni intrafamiliari, e invece volevo leggere di ambiente, povertà e terrorismo, tutti argomenti non presenti. Eventualmente sfogliate in libreria la versione italiana per bibliografia e altro.
