This is a beautiful piece. The front has number 24 and the rear, number 8. It has good weight to it and comes with extra wicks. Even the box can serve as a collectible. I have no intentions of using this as a lighter. Instead, it will remain as a Kobe collectible for me. Also makes a great gift.

Can be giftable, but I’m just not sure about longevity of use. I do like the overall look and design. We will see if it holds up to the claims of being refillable & wind proof

Why does the basketball keep falling off ? Is it missing a clip or something?

This is a nicely created lighter. It is easy to fill and use. I have not had any issues using this lighter. It is a item to gift.

Not only is this lighter very beautifully made, but the box it comes in is just gorgeous! There is so much intricate detailing on the lighter! The little ball even spins... very quickly too might I add! Fun! This is a phenomenal gift to give to your sports fan! Two thumbs way up!

This Lakers Kobe Bryant lighter is pretty cool. Looks great if you are just using it for display as a collectable. However, this does not work well as a normal lighter. The Lakers part is only a shell, while the actual lighter is a golden lighter that sits inside the shell. As soon as you open it, the inside lighter comes out a bit. If you try closing it with one hand, you are not able to close it. If you force it, you will break the hinge. The only way to close it at this point is to use your other hand and hold down the inside lighter while you close the lid on the shell. Not great for actual use, but other than that, it looks good on display.

This is a really cool windproof lighter, perfect for fans of Kobe Bryant. The feel is that of a quality, heavy product, and the embossing looks great. The spinning basketball is a really neat feature, and so far, the lighter works fine, although I won't be using it much, it is more of a collector piece for me. Would make a nice gift, although it might be somewhat confusing to the receiver that the presentation box, etc., has a very "Asian" style, while containing a tribute to an American sports icon. Still, it's a nice lighter featuring a tribute to a beloved icon, and at a price that won't break the bank. Good gift idea, for the basketball or Bryant fan in your life.
