Live in London 1978

These guy's started the twin lead guitars. Just outstanding Music. They have started in 1968. They are still playing strong 2015. All Pro. Great experience with seller. Everything came right on time.

One of the best Soundboard recordings I heard! A great companion to Live in Tokyo from the same year, which finally saw a light of day on CD recently.

Outstanding, recorded when touring in support of their No Smoke Without Fire lp, which this and other mid 70's Wishbone Ash studio recordings were bordering on lethargic, but played live as in this recording, are outstanding an full of emotion and energyLikewise, classic recordings The King will Come from Argus and (really, really impressive) Phoenix from Wishbone Ash.Comes from the BBC transcription services so the recording quality is excellent

Too sad that half part of the show was omitted.

Excellent ,if , suspicious release,hard to tell wether its officiall or semi legit , whats not in doubt is the sound quality,crystal clear and potentially sourced from a BBC transcription disc (as noted by previous reviwers and several fan sitesTracks included are : The King Will Come/ You See Red/ Front Page News/ The Way Of The World /Phoenix / Anger In Harmony 'Queen Of Torture / Blowin Free.Performance from the band is superb, particularly the opener tHE King will Come, might actually be my favourite version,its great to have 3 tracks from the ,then, new album NO SMOKE WITHOUT FIRE,namely tracks 2,4 & 6 whilst a classic from the debut makes a welcome addition (Queen of Torture).A worthy addition to any fans collection.

This is a superb quality recording of Wishbone Ash from a BBC concert in 1978.I am old enough to have recorded the original when it was broadcast and my old copy is getting worn and knackered,so when I bought this the first thing I noticed was two of the tracks"Phonix" and "Front Page News" were not on the original replacing"Warrior",Runaway"and Jailbait".The version of "Phoenix" is superb;Laurie Wisefields crystal clear leads soar throughout.The rest of the tracks are a mixture of old plus a good representation from the new album "No Smoke Without Fire".Highly recommended.

ONE OF THE BEST LIVE ALBUMS I HAVE HEARD TROM THE 70s ASH.THIS IS A REAL JOY TO BEHOLD.
