Amazon Collection Standard Comfort Fit 18K Gold Wedding Band, 5mm

As many, my wife and I were very wary about buying these things online for many reasons. I took a chance just because of the pretty decent reviews and the really good price compared to the local stores quotes. I wanted to say that my ring looks very nice has a good polish and smooth finish (comfort fit) with a pretty nice weight to it too. I wasn’t sure of the brand I was getting; only thing that was noted was amazon curated collection so I figured that was the brand. The ring seems to come from Benchmark as noted on the interior of the ring’s band along with their insignia, also the proper 18karatage and a registered trademark logo are engraved. The ring is about dead on the 5mm spot as described, being roughly 2-2.5mm thick all around. The ring also fit nearly perfect and I measured at roughly an 11-11.25 in the stores.I have never heard of benchmark, but I am not much into jewelry; so I did some minor research and they seem to produce pretty decent reviews throughout their jewelry. Now I can’t tell you if it is a knock off or just plated, but it seems legit to me. Again it was engraved with the company’s name which I have read that it is a federal law of some sort that it must be like this. As of right now, without damaging the ring to test or other ways to measure, I am very happy with this ring and feel like I got a deal, and I would highly recommend this ring to anyone in search of a band that is very reasonably priced for its quality and craftsmanship.Update: Many years later, and it this fella is still holding up. No discoloration or issues regarding durablity. It has picked up many scratches as expected with the softer metal variant. Still would highly recommend.

I recently bought this ring to replace an inexpensive tungsten carbide ring that shattered on the tile floor of my kitchen when it slipped off my hand, but that's a discussion for another day. I was quoted between $800 and $1100 for essentially the same gold ring at local jewelry stores and decided to go with Amazon.In my opinion, this ring is a commodity and should be priced like one. There are no unique carvings; no benefit from artisan design; this is a simple band machine manufactured and molded with a specified gold content and weight, and that is what I wanted. There is absolutely no reason to overpay for a product like this.Now I know a lot of folks want to support local mom and pop shops, but a 300% premium above Amazon's price for an almost identical product is absurd. If you want to support a local shop, tell them to lower their prices, or you could buy a ring like this at a discount and send the local shop a donation of the $500 you saved because you value them so much. Anyhow, given the great price and reliability of Amazon, I strongly recommend this product.

Lost my original wedding band and couldn't bear to go without.Went to a local Jeweler and was about to order one but they said theywould get back to me with a price.Read a review that said that this type of ring is more or less a commodity,which made sense; there is little in the way of artistry in its making. Didnot wait around for the estimate to come in, ordered one here and found it tolook and fit great.Ended up finding my old ring after wearing this one for a while (long enoughto get some minor scratches, or at least evidence or wear). Goingback to the original, I am now in the possession of a gold ring I no longerneed or want but can't return.Ah well, will wait for the price of gold to go back up and cash in.

This ring is very nice. I would buy it again. I purchased this ring about 18 months ago for considerably less than its current price. That said, even at its current price it’s lower than a local jewelry store. It has weight to it and is comfortable to wear.

Great purchase. Was a bit skeptical buying it at first. But when it arrived, the ring was just perfect.I am not too comfortable buying gold online, but thought I'd take my chances with Amazon.And it did pay off. Great finish on the ring. Packaging was very nice as well. All in all, a good product.

I don't have a lot of time to write a super long review, but I just wanna say I'm very impressed with the quality and color of this ring along with a very comfortable fit at by far the most reasonable price you will find anywhere for a real 18K gold 5mm mens ring. You'll pay at least 5 or 6 (or 7) hundred for this same quality ring on a different website or with a different "name brand," but with the exact same (if not better) quality. Happy customer!

My fiancé and I were a little worried about ordering a ring online but the prices at our local jewelry stores were triple the amount or more for the exact same thing so we decided to risk ordering one. I'm SO glad we did the ring is exactly what he wanted and you can tell it is a high quality ring. The gold is very heavy and the ring itself is very comfortable. Great buy I would highly suggest this ring to anyone.

I bought a ring that was said to be 7.8grams 18ct yellow gold. It was instead 7.6grams. At this point I will check also the specific gravity.They promised to deliver it in a "luxury Finished wood box", it was delivered instead in a very cheap blue paper box. Jewelry is a very sensitive matter. This was for me a test of reliability. I am not sure I will buy any more this staff at Amazon.

I have been shopping around lately for wedding bands for myself and wanted a solid gold band but they are generally not cheap unless you go with a 10k band. On a fluke I decided to check if Amazon sold wedding bands. Sure enough they do.I found this one and the price for most sizes was good, but not a lot better than a local jeweler. But for some reason the price for my exact size was around 1/3 of the price. I was skeptical but decided or order anyway and figured I'd take it to the local jeweler and get it checked out, worst case I could return it.So I took it to the jeweler(not a retail chain, but an actual GIA certified gemologist/jeweler) and had him check it out. Sure enough it is a real 18k gold band. He knew the company from the stamp on the inside. It is stamped Benchmark 18K. Benchmark is a US company and their rings are made in the US as well. The jeweler estimated the retail replacement cost at 3-4 times what I paid.I still don't understand why the band was so cheap but I won't complain. If see a good price on this item don't hesitate.

Great quality and price! Comfortable to wear. The jewelry stores that we visited charged over 1k for 14 karat gold - Amazon is half price and 18k. To be fair, the jewelry stores have "fancier" designs. Glad we bought this early for $530ish, as Amazon price may have increased due to the exchange rate and value of gold. By the way, this is made in USA.

Excellent ring! Nice weight to it, stamped 18k, came in perfect condition; No scratches/dings/scuffs. Had it for a few weeks now, scratches really easily but that's to be expected from 18k gold. Would probably recommend 14k for everyday wear as it does scratch quite easily, but very happy with this ring.
