Sixth studio album by the multi-million selling hard rockers, featuring 12 tracks ranging from funk-tinged bangers to soaring ballads as only EXTREME can deliver. Spearheaded by the songwriting team of vocalist Gary Cherone and guitarist Nuno Bettencourt (who blessed the world with chart toppers like 'More Than Words' and 'Hole Hearted'), 'SIX' is an essential addition to EXTREME's discography. The album opener and first single 'RISE' will immediately fire up legions of anxious fans with its signature riff. Elsewhere, 'OTHER SIDE OF THE RAINBOW' showcases EXTREME's gift for passionate acoustic magic. Ltd. Transparent Red Double vinyl, Gatefold. Review: Fantastic - Great deal great price. Maybe I'm biased but this album is amazing
I'm a life long Extreme fan but all I can honestly say is this is the best Extreme album since III Sides to Every Story. It's everything you'd expect from a band at the top of their game. Awesome vocals, unbelievable guitar, solid thumping bass and drums. There's a lot of different styles going on but in a good way....but we'll not mention 'Beautiful Girls' cause that just ain't for me. The vinyl itself is proper heavy 180grams although the cut on Hurricane is a bit harsh. All in all a good solid 9/10. Extreme fans will love it. Welcome back boys! \m/

A return to form
Definitely a return to form. Some great moments. I know some guitar players could probably listen to it without the vocals because Nuno is so talented, but for me, I was most impressed with Gary Cherone's voice. A lot of singers have lost their range by his age and he still seems to be smashing it. Dunno about a favourite track yet. I did really like 'X Out' as it had a bit of a 'Stranger Things' vibe to it and 'Small Town Beautiful' is pretty epic. Awesome guitar work as mentioned and massive sounds all round. There's also the inaugural acoustic/vocal harmony track that you expect lurking on an Extreme record. It's one for the collection for sure.

The record is quality. The vinyl nice. The music brilliant. It’s extreme putting out one of the best releases of the year.

Great Album, Terrible Recording Quality
Love the music but the quality of the recording is so compressed and flat.
