Great reference
Very useful in my day-to-day as a veterinary assistant in technician school! I’ve learned a lot by referencing this. Super convenient to bring with you too, because of the compact size.

Love it
I’m a vet tech and I love this little thing so much. I don’t reference it a ton, but when I need it, it’s there and it is so informative. I pulled it out the other day and the DVM I was working with goes “I have the same one in my bag!”

Great book sized to carry
This is a great book. It's sized so it can be carried in the pocket on my scrub pants, right at my fingertips when needed. My veterinarian boss looked at the book and liked it so much she was going to order several for the office nurses. Great help for my training program. We'll worth the cost.

Practical, Detailed, Quick
The only reason why I did not give this 5 stars is because I think they could have given/broken down things just a little more in the sense, I still felt like I was reading a text book, not looking at a "quick reference". I did think all the information in the PDQ was helpful and more than plenty, perhaps too much "fluffy" information that we could do without or it's mentioned more than once/ in an odd spot. The pages w tabs are the only ones laminated, the other pages are like regular textbook pages so it is easy to take and write personal notes or edits towards your liking with some pages having lots of space. Some pages usually with charts will be sideways which can be helpful. Fits in most scrub pockets. I have several different types of tops and bottoms and had no issues sliding this is most of the pockets. I will say, in daily use, it will fall out of your pocket at some point. So depending on your person, it's up to you if you want it to weigh you down. I also wouldn't exactly want to share it for fear of it being damaged, but I think it would be helpful in daily practice until you're more familiar then you'll forget you have it. Keep it near by when you have a brain fart, otherwise it's a decent learning tool for newer technicians learning to be in the clinic setting

Yes! Buy it!
If you keep thinking about buying it, JUST DO IT. This little pocket book is so nice to have at your hands. It's a really nice quick reference book for sure. The colored tabs make it organized and easy to flip to the section you are looking for.
