Was a little dubious despite lots of good reviews as seemed to good to be true for the price (not that I knew what the going rate was for a toilet!) but it is exactly as it says..straight forward to fit, you only really need a screwdriver, easy to remove to clean and as sturdy as it needs to be. Seemed a little loose/wobbly at first but it was just because I hadn't tightened the screws up enough as didn't want to over tighten so if it does move just tighten the screws. All in all a great item for a great price.

I have had a lot of problems with toilet seat installations due to buying bad quality toilet seats and I must say this is so easy to assemble and place on your toilet!All the parts are there and ready to construct straight away but I will give you advice just to mess around with the bracket that holds the toilet seat on so that it doesn't overhang or underhang.I would definitely recommend this as it is sturdy and functions as it should with a soft close as described and can be easily removed for ease of cleaning!Highly recommended for quality and price and ease of installation! 😃😃😃

4 stars out of 5. It could so easily have been 5, but unfortunately they cut back a little too much on the plastic thickness for presumed cost-saving reasons. But let me cover everything in detail.PROS - Its at a great price point, its well designed, the soft close lid really does close softly and near-silently. The toilet seat is 'full size' and as near universal as you can get when there's so many different toilet shapes. The hinges are high quality. The grommets fit snugly, and installation is a breeze. The instructions are clear and simple. It arrives well packaged.CONS -sadly the plastic of the seat and lid itself are just a little too thin. You know the kind of slightly-flexible plastic toilet seats you get in disabled toilets sometimes? Its like that. Its just not quite up to normal UK domestic standards. Its so thin that in places where the rubber bumpers are fitted underneath, you can actually see them slightly through the toilet seat lid. Its such a shame, if they had just not cheaped out on the plastic thickness quite so much, this would be absolutely perfect.

Good quality item. Very easy to fit, with expanding grommet screws. All you need do is insert into the holes in the toilet bowl and then screw until tight, then fit the quick release toilet onto the fixings. Took me 5 minutes.Easily adjustable to fit toilet bowl.Materials are good and the soft close works well

Okay toilet seat but a little flimsy. The hinges aren’t solid so toilet seat does move from side to side. I will probably buy a better one soon

Fixings are included.It arrived well packed in a box.It was very quick & easy to fit.Our toilet is about 5 years old & the Fixings supplied fitted perfectly. My husband took 5- 10 minutes to fit. I see some reviewers had problems...maybe older style toilets ??Feels comfy & secure to sit on🤭🤣Best of all is the soft slow quiet close feature no loud bangs in the night when lid closes 👌Made of white plastic material which is lightweight great for cleaning & disinfecting. Also looks clean.Quick release for cleaning..perfect for modern bathrooms.All in all....for the price paid the toilet seat looks great 👍 Feels good & comfy..we are happy with our purchase. 😊👌

The media could not be loaded. ...turns out that a D shaped seat *does* fit an oval toilet 😅I have the council's finest, elongated oval toilet [not the older, round oval] and although it doesn't sit snug, it sits OK.In fact, seeing some reviews about the poor fitting of oval on oval, I'd go as far as to say that it may even fit better than some of those guys'.✅️ I'm happy, it's nice, it was approx. £15 when I bought it, which is a bargain for a slightly posher look in my opinion.But, since there's always have to be one, I take this for the team:❌️ I found it a nightmare to install! Not due to the shape of the bowl, but because I'm used to the cheap, 'butterfly screw from the bottom' kind of seats/fixings.Poor people's problems. If I only encounter problems of this nature for the rest of my life, I'll be one happy person.

A really decent seat for the money. The plastic seat itself is a bit thin, but not uncomfortable.Fitting was straightforward and the instructions clear - although the plastic lugs that go through the ceramic holes in the toilet are quite large (the ceramic holes in my loo are quite small and not completely round!) so I needed to shave off the ends of the plastic lugs with a sharp blade in order to get them to fit through. Once in though, they were very easy to secure with a single screwdriver and have remained firmly attached so far.The 'soft close' mechanism works reasonably well for most of the movement, but it does speed up towards the end, causing the seat/lid to bang down a little onto the toilet. It isn't a heavy bang - but noticeable. The same is true when the lid is lifted up from the seat - it makes a bit of a 'catching' sound for a second, as if they're stuck together. Again, not a major thing for me, but it might annoy some people who expect a smooth, consistent mechanism and complete silence.Ideally I would also have preferred the seat to be a bit longer (it's 44cm) as although it does fit my toilet, (which is 46cm) it did mean having to move the seat quite a way forward - which exposed more of the round chrome seat fittings at the back. Not a real problem though, as the chrome is fairly good quality, it's just slightly less aesthetically pleasing.Overall though, I think it's a very stylish looking toilet seat for an excellent price - particularly for an overlapping lid type, which is what I wanted.
