Best idea I've ever seen!! Love the strings, and the colours are great!. I put these on my acoustic (Yes I use electric strings on an acoustic) and they still have a good sound after about 6 months of use (I don't use my acoustic too much so don't change strings regularly). Only bad thing I can say, is that the high E string is almost impossible to see on a rosewood or ebony fretboard, as its a deep purple colour and so thin, should be alright on a maple board though

No longer a gimmick!
Years back when coloured strings became available, many shrugged them off as gimmicky. I finally decided to try some of these and wow, they are lovely and bright, both aesthetically and sonically. In my opinion they sound better than the Ernie Ball paradigms which I have been using lately. Yes, the coating will start to come off around your pickups from being under constant attack from plectrums but it's worth it. They turn heads at gigs and make me that little bit more excited to pick up my guitar and play.

Nice look but maybe order 2 for spares
Got my guitar stung up and my "G" string snapped. I've ordered another set to replace the one and i'll keep the rest for spares. With the stings i have I'm finding them comfortable to use, they have a good feel to them, bending notes is easy and still have good grip on the sting. The colours are nice and vibrant, less so on the G E & B as these are thinner strings but still look great.I'm finding I'm able to play more confident and easily with these than my last strings however that says more about the strings that were on before. These are easier to push down on the fret board and thus achiving better sound than i was getting with the original strings.Look forward to putting there on my other guitars.

String Identification Made Easy!
Trying to learn guitar via the Rocksmith 2014 route, but was getting lost on which string was which. Having coloured strings was a godsend, making them easy to identify when using Rocksmith. Strings were easy to install, though they did take quite a while to tune while they stretched and settled. Once done have had no issues. A small amount of wear now shows, with a loss of the colour around the pick area, but given the amount of picking i do down there this was as expected. My main visual area is down the neck and have not noticed any fading in that area. All in all its a good product, looks great on the guitar, and is an excellent aid for learning via the Rocksmith 2014 channel!

Impressive
Great product - really impressed with the colours, the only downside is that some of the colour on the green string has flaked off after a couple of plays. Doesn't effect it and only the player would notice.

Shame the colours come off after 2days...
These strings play well but after 2days being played by my daughter (8yo) the coloured coating on the high E (10s) has started to come off. Very disappointing considering the heavy price point on these strings. The plus side is that it makes teaching a little easier as you identify each string by it's colour.

Good
Extremely good string sounds great as well. Colour can come off it handled too hard. My did when i had to restring the high E, but that was at the tuner peg.

Not as good as they used to be
After 20 mins of use the colour is coming off top 2 strings! My last set of these were on my guitar for years (I know long time between changes) but the colour never came off...clearly the quality has changed
