Worked great
So glad I found this. My control board burnt its self up. and this was plug and play following instructions.Definitely worth the time to get 2017 Dometic 15K RV AC Ducted 2 Zone.

pleased
took the manual control box off and installed this one, now its controlled with the CC2 thermostat, the unit was pre wired and install was pretty straight forward. the dealer went the easy route and probably didn't know you could connect it to CC2. Make sure you do your homework for compatibility and read the directions on programing the CC2 thermostat

Will not convert CCC Duo Therm to use CCC2 thermostat
After buying this control box and trading several emails with Dometic support, I found out that older Duo Therm CCC heatpump/AC units (mine are 2011) default to HEATING when the reversing valve solenoid is not energized. Newer CCC2 units like Brisk or Penguin default to COOLING when the reversing valve solenoid is not energized. So when I selected AC on the thermostat, it would engage the heatpump instead, and when I select Heat Pump on the thermostat it would blow AC cold air.All that to say, the newer CCC2 10-button programmable thermostats will not work with CCC1 units due to the reversing valve default position having been changed between these generations of heatpumps. A CCC2 control box alone is insufficient. A modification to CCC2 thermostats themselves at the firmware level would also be necessary so they would send the "energize" signal to the reversing valve solenoid in the correct mode. Dometic has informed me that they have no intention of pursuing this, despite having made a special conversion box for another niche market of people who want to use the older 5-button thermostat on their newer CCC2 heatpump/AC units. An air conditioner defaulting to blow heat when the reversing valve becomes stuck or the solenoid stops working was a design defect the day they conceived it. Yet they still built and sold millions of units with this defect and now we can't even use a modern thermostat with scheduling, but they will build a niche product for a few people who want to use an old, outdated thermostat on a new AC unit. Dometic has gotten complacent and couldn't care less about actually helping RV owners who are saddled with their defective, inferior products when they buy an RV.When I replace my two rooftop units next year, it will be with Furrion or Coleman replacements. Dometic is a nightmare and I hope their business fails.

Works for CCC2 Dometic
This is a good aftermarket replacement for the Dometic CCC2, 10 button thermostat system. Will work with Brisk air 2's, but used with the Penguins and Blizzard NXT units as well. Components look the same as OEM
