Nippon Kodo Morning Star Cedar Incense Sticks 200

We only ever burn Morning Star incense sticks now - as they have no wooden shaft up the middle (ie are all made of compressed incense) there is much less smoke but plenty of smell and we find they don't irritate our eyes or lungs when burning. They are quite fragile, but you just have to be careful with them - and you can always burn the broken pieces anyway. We have them in different scents and all of them are lovely - we bought cedar as it's also supposed to deter moths - no idea if it works for that, but it does smell nice.

Good sticks. They smell fresh and the scent is very good.

Arrived quickly and as described. These are lovely little incense sticks with pleasant sweet, woody smell that's not overpowering. All the incense I've used in the past have had thin wooden cores which seem to have been dipped in incense mixture to make the incense stick. These are different, there is no wooden core, just the incense itself moulded into a small thin stick. They are much smaller than the old ones I remember but seem to last just as long - about 15mins. Very nice, very cleansing.

I have Cedarwood + Sandalwood Nippon Kodo; Cedarwood is much nicer/stronger in my opinion. Incense sticks burn fast, with fairly little smoke and fairly faint smell which isn't overempowering even for tiny rooms like mine. The stand is a tiny square tile with a hole in it which holds the stick almost vertical.Product came fast, and smells good.

This is the second time I have purchased the Cedarwood incense. After being disappointed with other 'Pine' scented incense I went for the Cedarwood and was pleasantly surprised. It definately has a nice warm Cedar/Woody smell but it does not stop there. Underlying the scent is a subtle sweet undertone that is not quite Sandlewood but equally gives it that sharpness and edge lifting the incense above a monotone scent. It is probably my favourite 'day to day' incense.

Love this incense as it smells amazing but is not easy to find it, so the bigger pack is a great option and the price is reasonable. Will buy again for sure.
