In doubt size up
I wear stretchy size 32 pants 90% of the time. I sized up to 36 for these and they fit perfectly.

A lot of reviews say to take care with the sizing, some saying they run large, others saying they run small. I ordered with a 42" waist, and they fit just like the 42" jeans I bought on here last year. They're loose enough around the waist that I can sit down on the couch without my pendulous belly stretching them too much. (Maybe the manufacturer saw the reviews?)Nice and comfy, and they look great. A bit long in the legs, but that's normal for leather pants: you're expected to cut them to length as necessary. Don't think I'll bother with that, as it's not an issue.
