works perfectly. Nice 8 port POE switch
This works as advertized. Ran 6 terminals without issue. Uplink port works as well. So a fully functioning 8 port switch and POE. If you need an 8 port POE switch, this is what I recommend.

Works great, good value
This 8-Port PoE Switch is designed to provide both data connectivity and power (Power over Ethernet) to compatible devices like IP cameras, Wi-Fi access points, and IP phones. Available in various configurations (e.g., 100Mbps or Gigabit ports, with additional uplink and SFP slots), it features a total power budget of 100W (or 120W), supporting 802.3af/at standards. This switch boasts features like VLAN support, PoE scheduling, and protection mechanisms, all housed in a fanless metal casing. Pros: ā Provides power and Ethernet data over a single Ethernet cable (PoE/PoE+) ā Supports a wide range of devices like IP cameras, Wi-Fi access points, and IP phones ā VLAN support for improved security and traffic segmentation ā Includes a PoE Scheduler to control power delivery based on time ā Protection mechanisms against short circuits, over current, and over voltage ā Metal casing and fanless design for durability, quiet operation, efficient heat dissipation ā Easy to set up with plug-and-play functionality ā Some models support an "Ultra-Far mode" for extending power and data transmission up to 250 meters Cons: ā Advanced management features (if available) might require some networking knowledge to fully utilize ā Warranty isn't very long (1 year I believe) Overall this is a solid device, it works as expected and I've had no issues with it after 1 year. Plug and play POE, I use it to power Ring cameras around the house. Recommended for the price.

Fast Setup, Perfect for Zigbee + PoE Home Automation
I purchased this switch specifically to use with a Zigbee device that supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), and it exceeded expectations. Setup was incredibly quick and straightforward ā I had the switch installed, configured, and powering my Zigbee devices within 5 minutes. The plug-and-play nature made it very user-friendly, even for someone who isn't a networking expert. No complex configuration was needed, and everything worked right out of the box. The switch delivers consistent power and connectivity to my PoE-enabled devices, which is essential for a stable smart home setup. If you're integrating Zigbee devices or other PoE gear into your home automation system, this switch is a great choice. Reliable, simple to set up, and efficient. Pros: Extremely easy setup Works seamlessly with PoE Zigbee devices Reliable performance Great for home automation systems Cons: Wish the label printing was a little larger Overall: Highly recommended for anyone needing a PoE switch for smart home use.

Cheap and functional only for a limited time.
Worked for about 18 months and then it went completely dead. I would not buy this product again and Iām very dissatisfied that we got just out of warranty use and then it went dead. Tried a different power cable. tried a different network line and tried a different router. Tried every variable I could with different parts that I have and could not get this unit to work again.

Nice PoE switch. Not sure about the "cloud" management.
I haven't been able to figure out how to get into the management features. Fortunately I didn't need that. I have 1 poe device hooked up so far and it's working fine.

Works well for security cameras
I installed an additional two PoE security cameras where I had to go through the attic but getting down to the 24 port PoE switch was very difficult. I did have an existing Ethernet cable going up to the attic that I didn't use. So I decided to add a PoE switch in the attic. I looked at many models and this was seemed to do all I needed, i.e. * 4 port of which all are PoE+ * 802.3af/at * An uplink port * It has hooks in the back so you can put 2 screws in the wall and then hang it flush on the wall. * It plugs right into a 120V outlet, i.e. there is no power brick * 52W of total power should be plenty for connecting 4 cameras. * Offers VLAN, though I am not using it because the uplink goes into a port of the VLAN on which all my other cameras are. * Great price.

I have 4 of these from this supplier. The basic switch functionality is as expected but having to use the app to configure these is a bit unsettling in this day and age. I wasn't too concerned at first but now, having experienced these units for about a year, I've replaced them with proper web managed devices which can be entirely managed locally without the need to register the units off shore and rely on a custom app. Best practice is to block any managed switch devices from communicating with their HQ using firewall rules and if you plan to use these innexpensive devices, then after configurating them, to isolate them further to a completely untrusted network vlan. My recommendation is to not purchase these units and to send suppliers a message that this business model isn't acceptable. Provide a firmware update with a web based configuration and cut the link to head office.
