Garmin Universal Carry Case

Bought this as a gamble for my Garmin Zumo XT, which is more than 1 cm wider (8.8 cm) compared to the dimensions listed for this case - 18.8 x 7.62 x 3.56 cm. The Garmin Zumo XT original case listed on their website is 25 quid, is a hard case, not the easiest to stuff into pockets, so I was keen to find something like this one, and not a cheap knock off. Plus nice to have the option of a belt loop. Managed to get the Zumo to fit in, a bit snug but will do the job comfortably...for now, as the nylon case has a bit of give and stretch. (See pics; the first one has the Zumo in - with no stress on the zipper.) Time will tell whether the seams hold up. Looks like good quality, the zipper is top notch and with the ample length of this case, makes for smooth operation and access, even with the device itself being a close fit. Ideal to stuff the USB power cable in as well. And will fit into my jeans, if not on the belt. The Garmin logo patch (rubberised) adds to the premium feel. Am thoroughly chuffed with my buy! Thoroughly recommend.

GPS's are relatively inexpensive when compared to mobile phones, but this does not mean that they can be treated casually when not in use. When not in use a GPS can be knocked about a bit while rummaging through a drawer at home, or a rucksack when setting up camp, etc.. The case is big enough to accommodate a relatively small Garmin eTrex or a bulkier Garmin Montana 650, and still leave room for spare backup batteries. The protection provided is well worth the cost of the case.

Having recently purchased the Garmin GPSMAP 78s from Amazon I needed a nice protective case for it This Garmin original case fits perfectly around my 78s I think this is absolutely the perfect case for the 78s I am marking it down one star as I believe it is a little bit over priced If price is no objective then you cannot go wrong with this original Garmin purposefully made case Very highly recommended even though it is rather expensive

Brought this case for my 60 CSx and I was impressed by the size of the pouch. Is fitting good my 60 CSx and remain some space for 4 extra batteries or its USB cable. Good stuff but little bit too big.

This item is made for the job, it is well made, it is not cheap but you get what you pay for, and it works well with my Garmin GPS units,

Shame it is a big too big for my Garmin Montana 610 - fits width and depth but is a couple of inches too long

I'm sure this case is fabulous, but I have to give this item 1 star be cause there is no item description. Take heed, my friends, this case is only for the following Garmin GPS's: GPS II, III Series, V, 12 series and Rino series. I bought this case without even thinking when it came under the "Customers who bought this item, also bought..." set of links when ordering my Garmin eTrex, so it seems I'm not the first to make this mistake.

As stated it is a universal fit case so there will be some fitting issues between different model units. The inside dimensions are 7" x 2.75" x 1.5". Overall the case seems well built for the price and should wear well with light to moderate use. It is padded on the inside. I bought the case for GPSMAP 78SC; it fits well within the case with room to spare above or below the unit. You could easily use the extra space to store spare batteries or other small devices. The only thing that raised an eyebrow is the zipper. It does not zip down equally on both sides of the case. Where this might be come an issue is if you wear the case on your left. because the zipper does not zip down as for on that side of the case, you may struggle a bit with insertion/removal; especially in a rush.

Tutti i dispositivi portatili sono soggetti a urti, graffi, polvere, spesso molto di più rispetto a quelli fissi. Questo fodero, che all'interno una morbidissima fodera, assorbe piccoli urti, evita la graffiatura dei displaye, non ultimo, riduce anche il rischio di accensione accidentale del dispositivo. E' dotata di una zip di chiusura ben scorrevole, con apertura asimmetrica, che riduce il rischio di caduta del dispositivo durante l'apertura/chiusura. Una volta aperta, il GPS può essere afferato in sicurezza, consentendo anche di assicurare il cordino dell'apparecchio al polso PRIMA di estrarlo, per ridurre il rischio di caduta. Non dimentichiamo che il GPS portatile, spesso, non viene usato in situazioni comodissime, e il rischio caduta non è certo da trascurare. Insieme al GPS è possibile anche interire 2 batterie AA di riserva (ci stano strette, ma entrano), per aumentare sicurezza ed autonomia. La custodia, sul retro, ha un passante per aggancio alla cintura, molto robusto anche nelle cuciture. La custodia non interferisce minimamente con la registrazione delle tracce e con la rilevazione della posizione, anche se agganciata alla cintura o allo zaino. Insomma, un prodotto ben rifinito, solido, leggero e pratico.

El tamaño para un Garmin GPSMAP es perfecto. La funda no es rígida, está muy bien, me gusta mucho. No es que sea nada del otro mundo, cremallera correcta y poco más.
