This year I planned to get serious with growing some plants from seeds. When I found this set on AMAZON and compared it with others. I felt it was not only a good deal. But it looked like good quality. And was I right in this assumption! It has everything I need for planting seeds. They really thought of every step. Sturdy and well-manufactured parts. I am totally impressed. I can't wait to start. This set makes me feel like a pro. As soon as I will I will post some pics. Thumbs up and I do recommend this product!

This kit has a lot of nice features to make seed starting really easy. Combined with a warming mat and a couple of lights, I -- a first-timer at doing this -- was able to successfully start tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers, and peppers. This kit includes main trays (the black pieces), tray inserts, and then individual cups for each seedling. That final detail is really nice and was not present in another set I bought. This made transplanting a breeze. Of course prior to that the seedlings lived under the nice tall dome for quite some time, another feature that really sets this kit apart from the competition. Putting everything together was super simple and took me maybe 5 minutes. Everything feels fairly durable and I think it will last a long time. One minor complaint is that the humidity adjustment discs on the top of the dome are black plastic. I felt that these were blocking my lights for some of the seedlings, so I removed them in latter stages of seedling development. One other note: For some types of plants I'd read to use hot (120F) water to help initially start seeds. I poured the water into this kit and some of the individual cups melted and deformed a bit. This is not a knock on this product, as that's probably not a common use case; just wanted to mention it in the review as something you should avoid, if you decide to use this product. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase and I'm looking forward to many years of use.

I will definitely buy these again. Many trays and 4” lids. Labels, tiny tools, tiny individual soil cups and vents. Perfect. I love these for starting clones and seedlings. Will buy again.

I really like a lot of things about this set. It is really well packed and takes up less space for quite a lot included. I like that you can wash and reuse most everything. The greenhouse top with aeration is great. The clear container makes it easy to monitor root growth. Cons are that the divided tray makes it a bit more difficult to water from the bottom- the water doesn't evenly distribute throughout the tray. The high top also makes it harder to get the light close to the seedlings and mine all got a bit leggy despite the lights being placed right against the top. I wish there were more labels as well. They include so many trays - but I had to get extra labels.

Been very pleased with this seed starting kit. It's simply but effective, & most of all, its reusable. I have started dozens of trays over 2 growing seasons. I see no reason I couldn't go 2 or 3 more seasons. Excellent value!

We purchased this to start our garden veggies and it works great! It is a great size to leave on our kitchen counter and acts like a green house, keeping it humid and warm. I recommend this for anyone who likes to start their garden from seeds.

These were a little flimsy, but seem to work ok for what they are. My only criticism is that the lids don't really click into place, but rather just sit on top. Even a little gentle movement causes the lids to pop off. I might try spending a bit more for a higher quality model next time.

I love these grow trays. I germinated and started my veggies in these and they grew so fast! The lid doesn’t secure in place so be careful if you need to move them around. I like the option for ventilation or no ventilation. Great product if you are looking to start your little garden inside.. or out!
