Although $189 is not utterly "cheap" by any means, when you delve into really good grinders and their price tags, this is definitely in the realm of affordable - especially with what you get for the money spent.Pros:*Very compact - takes up minimal space on my counter / coffee bar*Quiet! For being electric, it is relatively quiet. My kids rooms are right off the kitchen and making coffee at 5 am and running this device has not stirred the kids, which is a huge plus*Grind settings provide a diverse capability to grind according to the type of coffee you're making. It is also very helpful that the lid of the bean holder provides general settings for your desired grind. There is also the capability to fine tune your grind size with a micro adjustment notch*The magnetic base / grind cup is clutch! I never have to worry that my cup will be off-center, creating a mess of grinded beans all over my counterCons:*I'm sure this is normal amongst most grinders, but unless you finish your grinding and tap on the top of the grinder a few times to get all the residual grounds out, they will disperse out onto your grinder base and counter. Not a huge deal, but I don't like extra clean-up so that could get annoying.For the money, this is a good entry into the coffee world. Its versatility and ease of use make it a welcomed addition to my coffee routine.
