Worth it for one or two jobs.
April 2024 review. While the pieces aren't the highest quality, as a DIY bathroom re-do, it did plenty good for our needs. We did have to hijack a spare broom handle laying around to attach these pieces, which was fine. The price beat out a competitors's pro kit, which included a mixing barrel which we didn't need. Tip: To mix up the leveling compound save your lungs and wear a respirator mask. We also drilled out a hole in the side of a 6-gallon bucket and inserted/duct taped a shop vac hose attached to a cyclone unit then to the shop vac (See 'how-to' vids online). We turned on the vac when dumping the mortar into the bucket to cut down on dust everywhere. This is because our bathroom is on the second level and we didn't want concrete dust everywhere and it was winter so we couldn't mix it up outside. The spiked shoe plates didn't break under the weight of our son's 140-pound frame. Not saying how much weight the plates will hold, though. They do seem cheap. But if you want affordable tools that will work to give you the level surface you need, this kit should be fine. I can't arrest to how it would work on a large job like a basement floor, though. Since our house was quite 'settled,' the floor was 1-1/4" off North to South. The type of morar we choose stated that it worked up to 1-1/2 inches deep, but on a plywood base, a mortar primer and metal lath had to be put down first. I, believe some mortars allow admixes for a more stable base, but only if the depth is no more than 1/2". Because ours was off by so much, and we were laying down on plywood, I'm glad we did the lath, even though it was a pain, AND using the spike roller really helped to remove the bubbles as we were spreading the mortar out, esp since the depth was 1-1/2" deep. I'm glad we took a chance on this kit.

Great DYI tool kit.
Kit has all the tools you will need to DYI self leveling compound. 18 bags in and my project came out great.

Decent
For the price it wasn't a bad buy if using once. The shoes are not comfortable and hard to stay on if you're walking alot. Over all not bad

This is the most horrible garbage imaginable
the quality is soooo bad, if you use this product, good chance of ruining your epoxy. My shoes broke and my squeegee. No thread for handles which they don’t provide. Basically epoxy pour is hard enough without products that wouldn’t pass quality for Wish.

Good enough for the price
Good Enough for 1 job! Really helped get the self leveling concrete evenly spread. The rollers where decent and what got the job done. The foot straps broke (poor stitching) and the metal screed was hard to use since it kept flexing because the wing nut just didn't lock the handle angle in enough.

DO NOT BUY - Sub-standard product
All the pieces in this kit are sub-standard. The cleats are awful, the rollers will not stay on the poles (not threaded). The squeegee does float product. DO NOT BUY!
