Great buy, simple, yet strong.
I'm really hard on belts. Like I always look for really strong rivets and robust sure m stitching because invariably they all end up failing. I've gone through more belts than I can even count. The longest lasting belt I ever had was a nice leather Italian one my grandpa gave me, and even that poor thing eventually gave up the ghost. So I thought this might be a good option for me since the points of failure seem a lot harder to push the boundaries of.So far I've worn it for a day and it's fairly comfortable. It's got a low profile and doesn't hurt to bend over in, even for guys like me with some extra padding on the belly. It's infinitely variable in adjustment, so no fighting for the right hole, and no breaking it at the buckle hole either. And as long as it goes around you it will grow (or shrink!) with your waste size, which is nice.Overall I'm very impressed, it's solid, incredibly simple design, and made out of robust materials which should be able to take a beating. We'll see if I've finally met my match in a belt I can't break, and hopefully this thing will last me a decade or more. Also kudos for the packaging it came in. Very minimalistic, just like the belt, it's basically just a simple cardboard box, and no extra paper or anything needed, it has the instructions on the box. So not much waste or over packaging, which is very refreshing! And made in the USA printed on the side.

Best belt, vegan or otherwise, and very cool customer service
After about a decade on here, this is my first review, because I'm stoked on this product and seller. I love the belt, and it's my second one. (No, the other one hasn't disintegrated, I'm still using it and it's probably 4 years old.) I was originally sent a different strap from what I ordered; the ad didn't say which of the GRIP6 strap styles it should be, but it was different from the ad picture. On top of that, turns out I should've sized down from L to M. I messaged the seller, and they were really accommodating. Kait asked for a pic, and then she sent me the strap I wanted, in medium like I need, and she said to keep the other strap. The best thing about the belt is that it doesn't slip. It stays snug, and is easy to loosen or tighten. In that regard, my first GRIP6 belt is one of the best belts I've ever had, and hands down the best non-leather belt (shout out NJ Skateshop for making a shop-branded buckle).

High quality, nice idea, not for me.
I bought this belt primarily because I wanted a nice, reliable, high-quality piece of kit that was made in the USA. I try to buy as much stuff that's made in the USA as possible and I'll even pay a premium to do it. I broke a made-in-China ratchet belt a few weeks ago and sought to find a replacement. I really liked the idea of the Grip6 belt. It's definitely high quality and has good design and craftsmanship. It's presented simply and is well thought-out. It looks understated and is crazy lightweight. But I didn't keep it and returned it because it's... fussy. I literally wore it for 10 minutes and tried to acquaint myself with the unorthodox clasp/clamp/friction mechanism before I realized that I didn't want to "learn" how to wear a belt. Don't get me wrong here; it's a great idea and for a ton of people it's probably awesome, but I did not find it easier, faster, or more convenient than a ratcheting belt. When I undo my belt I want it to come off quickly and cinch down as fast. I didn't want to have to re-train my brain to do a belt a different way, so it just isn't for me. I'm not a jerk and I'm not going to give a single star because I didn't like the ONE THING this belt is TOTALLY DESIGNED TO DO. It gets 4 stars from me because it's a great piece of kit, but it's not the right thing for me. Sorry Grip6. Make a ratcheting belt in USA and I'll buy it.

grip6 belts are awesome
I've had one of grip6's narrow belts for a good 6 months and its going strong. This made me decide to try their standard size belt (width of belt) it's noticeably wider, but slides into my pants belt loops just as easy and is extremely comfortable just as the narrow one was. The narrow one i have was what they called granite (looks like standard silver colored buckle) i got this gunmetal one in and loved the color. These belts have awesome infinite adjustability, they hold up much better than belts with loops especially leather and i don't mind paying a bit more for a great belt made in the usa with a lifetime warranty. I now have 3 grip6 belts and all are holding up well.
