I am posting this review after full completion and I can confidently say that this book sound promising but is shallow from the inside. The information is just completely outdated, i hardly gained any WoW information and feels like wasting my weeks time in reading this book. Please don't waste your money if you want to upskill in 2025

The book provides a comprehensive overview about state of the art approaches to foster practical applications of AI in the business world. Mangers get guidance how to foster an AI-friendly mindset and make the first steps in their individual context. AI will drive digital transformation and helps to overcome the digital transformation log jam.

Although I did learn some information I was expecting to learn about specific tools we could use, more business cases explaining what tool was used, how it was implemented, the exact challenges found, the time it took etc. But instead of that the book talks about AI but in a general manner without going too deep.

Like everything in the HBR series, there is no meat. It's hard to imagine somebody not knowing this superficial content picking up the book and learning something actionable.
