992423 Genuine Oil Removal Kit, Black

After spending years faffing and fiddling to empty the oil chambers on my mowers - and causing a considerable mess!! - I finally took the initiative and bought a kit to do the job properly. And my goodness - I’m so glad I did. This kit is mess-free and so simple to use. It easily pulls out all the old oil so you can bottle it and get rid of it and it has all the parts you need to do a great job at very low cost. Oil out, petrol wash the filter, fix or replace the plug, pop new oil in and you’re good to go for next season - and you’ve saved yourself a tidy little sum not having to pay for your mower to be professionally overhauled. And that sure makes a lot of sense to me … and my pocket!! Really great little kit.

Went to do an oil change when I found my oil plug was not coming off. Bought this after reading about it online and was absolutely worth the purchase. Works perfectly and fits in the oil plug no problem. Sucked all the oil out of the engine in less than 2 minutes and with little effort on my end while also being able to hold it all. Item feels good to use and does not feel flimsy or like it will fall apart. Will be using this for all my oil and fluid changes from now on

Very easy to use,just screw pump handle onto top,push pipe onto bottle,insert other end into sump & pump,would give it 5* but lost 1 as pipe was a little big for where it needed to fit into mower,sorted it with a different pipe & worked great.

Used mine today. It was great and no mess. I used to tip the oil out of my lawn mower and make quite a mess. For a small expense, which was well below the cost of paying for a service, I got this pump kit and a service kit for my lawn mower. Simple, clean, efficient. I'm delighted.

I really liked to use this product, used it for the first time in my life and must say that not only no spillage of oil anywhere but also very easy to set up and use, also very handy bottle where is safe for the dirty oil to put into and discard in a local tip. Instructions not so great but can be viewed online for easy step by step. Very happy with this product and no worries for next years to come of changing oil on my lawnmower! :)

The vacuum pump screws to the reservoir which is good. Ive used others that rely on the vacuum to seal. This is more direct and should last longer than the o ring type. Tube is OK but will need adapting to accept smaller dia tubes if your pulling oil out of a lipstick. All round though its fine

Most modern mowers do not allow you to tip them on their sides to drain the oil out of the sump like they used to, indeed if you do so you can damage the engine. This item is ideal for the once a year when I service my mower. At the end of summer I tend to change the oil in my mower, either leaving the sump empty or more often removing the old old, which can be corrosive and filling up with new oil, ready for the next year. This pump is ideal, removing the warm (but not hot) oil using the vacuum pump mechanism, then decanting it into a container for disposal. So easy to use and prevents damage to the lawnmower engine. Absolutely brilliant piece of equipment: seldom used but invaluable.

Die Briggs & Stratton Öl-Entfernungspumpe 992423 nutze ich für den Ölwechsel an meinem Rasenmäher und bin sehr zufrieden. Mit der Pumpe lässt sich das Altöl sauber und kontrolliert absaugen, ohne den Mäher kippen zu müssen oder Öl zu verschütten. Die Handhabung ist einfach und selbsterklärend. Schlauch anschließen, pumpen – schon wird das Öl zuverlässig abgesaugt. Gerade bei kleinen Motoren ist das eine enorme Erleichterung und spart Zeit. Die Pumpe wirkt stabil verarbeitet und ausreichend robust für den regelmäßigen Einsatz im Gartenbereich. Positiv finde ich auch, dass sich der Ölwechsel damit deutlich sauberer und rückenschonender erledigen lässt. Für Wartungsarbeiten zwischendurch ist das Zubehör sehr praktisch und schnell einsatzbereit. Fazit: Eine einfache, effektive Ölpumpe für den Ölwechsel am Rasenmäher. Saubere Anwendung, gute Funktion und sinnvolles Zubehör – klare Empfehlung für Hobbygärtner und Heimwerker.

Il materiale di cui è fatta è di buona qualità e molto resistente, al tatto si vede subito che è solida e ben progettata. Buona anche la capacità di aspirazione, per me promossa a pieni voti. Nel caso di olio motore consiglio l'utilizzo quando l'olio è caldo, in questo modo l'operazione di aspirazione sarà agevolata dalla minore densità del fluido che state aspirando. Anche se il tubo potrebbe ammorbidirsi e strozzarsi un po' a causa del calore, questo non ne pregiudica l'utilizzo. Mi raccomando solo di fare attenzione a non ustionarsi (se l'olio è troppo caldo) ed a maneggiare il tutto con cura indossando sempre guanti ed altri opportuni dispositivi di protezione individuale. Per aspirare l'olio di piccoli motori tipo: tosaerba, motozappa, motorette va molto bene e si riesce ad aspirare tutto in una sola volta. Qualora invece dovesse servirvi per aspirare l'olio dell'automobile, in questo caso occorre fare alcune precisazioni: 1) Se il quantitativo di olio da aspirare è superiore a 3,5 litri (circa) vi conviene svuotare il contenitore (che purtroppo non è graduato) e ripetere l'operazione più volte fino al completamento. 2) Il tubicino in dotazione per l'aspirazione potrebbe risultare un po' grandicello da inserire nel foro in cui alloggia l'asticella per il controllo del livello olio motore (diametro esterno tubicino circa 10 mm). Occorre procurarsi un riduttore ed un altro spezzone di tubo di minor diametro. 3) La lunghezza del tubicino di aspirazione potrebbe non essere sufficiente al raggiungimento del fondo della coppa dell'olio, anche in questo caso serve adattatore e relativo tubicino di prolunga. In ogni caso, trattandosi di un validissimo strumento, non mi sento di ridurre la mia valutazione per i suddetti motivi, i quali possono essere tranquillamente superati tramite piccole accortezze. Alla fine della fiera la pompetta va bene e funziona egregiamente. Infine ricordatevi sempre di rispettare l'ambiente smaltendo l'olio esausto presso gli appositi centri di raccolta.
