Engaging for very senior and young cats
I got this for my 1 1/2 yr old cat we've had for a year and he was tired of the strings he used to love. It just arrived and I've spent 30 min. playing with my 2 cats. The shock is my extremely senior cat is engrossed in it! She was not happy at first, like the look of "you don't expect me to care, right?!" And then couldn't help herself! It brought out a side of her I've never seen and we've had her since she was first born! Both cats ended up actually working together to catch the toy, it's been wonderful!I'm so glad I got this for them and can't wait for my kids and husband to use it too!

My cat went nuts for this!
I have an older cat - he’s 14. I’ve bought him so many different toys - lasers, the flopping fishes, many different things on strings and poles, etc. They pique his interest at best, but he quickly moves on. He has no reaction to catnip, also. It’s difficult to find toys he will play with. This drive him wild! It was hilarious to see. He was jumping all over everything. I haven’t seen him move this quick in years.I can tell the attachments won’t last long, but I don’t care. I will keep repurchasing them gladly if it keeps my cat active.I just put it away because he needed a break, and he’s sitting on the couch looking all around for it.One word of caution: once they “catch” it, don’t pull too hard to get it back. There are metal pieces, and the black wire part was frequently between his toes. There are also places for your cat’s larger teeth to get caught up on, but as long as you don’t pull it, it should be fine.In summary: My cat loves it! Be prepared to purchase replacement parts, and be careful not to pull it away once they “catch” it.

Love that they make replacements
One of my 4 cats favorite toys. I have to keep it in the pantry so they do not destroy it when we are not playing. The turkey feathers make good sounds that help keep them interested. The wand they come with is really useful in getting all different kinds of movements out of the toy to keep all different interests of our cats. One likes it to move like a moth, one likes it to skitter on the ground, one likes when I spin it fast and make it sing.My only comment is to remove the bell before use. The bell is a danger and can hurt them if the meet the bell during play. It can chip or break teeth or hurt them so they don't want to play any more. This is not a big deal you can do it yourself but I would appreciate with all the thought that went into this toy if it was just removed.

My cats addiction!
This toy is my cat's favorite, paws down! He goes absolutely crazy...if I just move it slightly he will come out of nowhere with claws out and ready to attack! Seriously, I didn't realize how much he would love this and how durable it would be...well, not the feathers really as he takes care of those fast. The only downside is that the replacements are priced almost as much as a whole new kit. Also, the bell is something my cat doesn't like. I remove it but it would be nice to have a bell free option for cats with super sensitive hearing.

Cats love these to death
These things fall apart super quick but I can't stop buying them. The cats love them THAT MUCH. They're so much fun when they're new, making really cool propeller sounds as they whiz through the air. After a while, though, the feathers get mutilated. And sometimes "a while" is... 5 minutes. But whatever! They love them. Don't expect them to last forever.

Well made, kittens love it, but not kitten-proof
My two kittens had hours of fun with this. Absolutely perfect for their over-abundance of energy. It is also much easier to hold onto with a sturdy stable. They did, however, rip the feathers within a couple of hours. I kept using it though as they didn't seem to mind it no longer whirled about and was pretty. I like that it's possible to get other types of refills that secure with a clip. I absolutely recommend with kittens. It is soft for them, and small and not intimidating. Even more extra feather clips would be great, as they tear through them very quickly. But definitely great buy if you have kittens.

Cats love it
So my cats love this but they want to destroy it and unfortunately it doesn't stand up to my younger cat's killer instincts but it does withstand my older cat so it just depends on how your cats treat feathers.Overall, I love this thing and I'll definitely be re ordering later on. They're actually bugging me right now because they want to play again with it!

Cat Loves it
My name is Neville. Mom plays with me. I'm an older cat who feels young again. I love to chase this even when my legs hurt. I can play with it without mom or running around just by putting it in between the arm and couch cushion. Even the grandson plays with me. I lay down and he waves it and I try to catch it laying belly up. No sore legs. Thanks Mom.
