According to my husband - This unit was easy to install and has worked great for 6 months since being installed. Cools / heats my small shop perfectly. Wonderful value for the money especially compared to ones from big box stores. Also the customer service from the these guys was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I had one issue and it was taken care of promptly and professionally, I wish every company was this customer oriented.

I've had my unit since 2023. Purchased it for mainly the ac, since working in a 20'x20' shop in the summer can get pretty warm. When winter came around and it started getting really cold. I didn't have a whole lot of hope in the unit being able to keep the shop even somewhat warm. But no it does a fantastic job keeping things from getting too cold when you dont want them too. Then crank up the heat and turn on turbo mode, its shorts and t-shirt weather in that little shop. There's only been a couple times (when it well below freezing with crazy windchill) that it gave out on me. But I also understand how these funtion and some of the requirements needed for these units to function. But let it sit a little bit and it works again fine.

I did a ton of research on minisplits, what I found is they are mostly all about the same. I went with a model that had some helpful videos on YouTube for installation instructions. I’ve now been using this Rovsun in the summer and winter months, it’s perfect. I even start it up on cold days from my phone so when I get out into my office it’s nice and toasty.

These AC machines are absolutely amazing, easy to install, easy to work and super quiet and just beautiful on the walls! I did have a problem with one of the 4 units I bought the main inside wouldn’t turn on? So then sent me labels and now I will be getting my replacement soon, over all a great Experience.

12 k unit, 120v power I purchased. The electrical part was easy. The instructions on turning the unit on are not great I used YouTube."there are no instructions saying to open the valves on the side of the condenser. Thedrain from the head unit is awful, but not a big deal. Homedepot get one that is more Ridged $75 for hose/insulation/cilps. The drain supplied kinks very easy! Idea! Buy extra insulation for the drain and I installed it next to the refrigerant lines. Buy silicone caulking also/ great stuff spray foam when putting lines through wall. Looking at around 1k start to finish if you do it yourself. Approx 630 unit w. Tax. I would recommend to buy this unit! I cannot say how it will preform in very cold Temps for the heat part/ AC works great. Not noisy at all/compact unit / comfortable AC.

Bought five of these for our new home. The work very well and are quiet on the low to medium settings. A little bit noisy on Hi settings but totally normal. Like most mini splits they are kind of ugly. I wish this brand would make recessed units that don't hang on the wall. The only issue I have had is that one of our five outdoor fan units and makes a lot of noise. I need to take it apart and tighten all of the screws and hardware to keep it from vibrating. Note. You we likely need a licensed HVAC sub to charge the line sets. Especially if you have to customize and braze any of the connections.

Easy install , this unit has been great easy to install easy to use.

Total piece of crap!! I installed this myself, I’m a licensed C-20 in California and it last about 2 years before acting up.. a code popped up E0 on the indoor unit and it finally just stopped working. I contacted Rovsun via email and they could not provide me with replacement OCB, or any idea on where to find one. They wouldn’t even provide a discount on a replacement.. this is a DO NOT BUY!!!
