I have a Scott Ransom bike thatās axel was to short to accommodate for my bike trailer attachment. Purchased this hoping it would fix that issue and it did exactly that and I can now pull our burley encore trailer.

Doing the job
I do charity events where you are matched with a special needs individual and pull them in a bike trailer. I bought this thru axle for that purpose. I have only done two events with it so far, but no problems. The rig I pulled was well over 200 lbs total in both cases. I will update if I run into any issues.

Great solution for thru axle bicycle
I purchase many items, but seldom write a review. I was trying to purchase a bicycle trailer cart for kids, but could only find a few that stated they could be used with a thru axle. Then I found this adaptor axle which could be used with any trailer. This website was so thorough that I was able to purchase the item with the correct length and thread pitch. I received the axle quickly and it installed in minutes.

Bike thru-axle adapter
Product works great! Me and my spouse use it weekly to attach our off brand bike trailer to our mountain bike. We often use it on paved trails but it has not failed us on gravel roads. Will be buying a second one in a differenr size very soon for another bike.

Weak contact point, broke off during the second ride.
Broke off after a test ride. It has very prominent weak spot, I'd avoid these due to safety concerns. I'm glad I did not have kids in the trailer when the axle broke.

Works great
Bought this for my 2013 Cannondale Scalpel and it fits with all the spacers. Connects perfectly with the InStep trailer we have. I have used it a couple times and haven't noticed any difference in the feel of the axle. So far, would recommend.
