Works exactly as it should, good quality, sturdy metal casing, good quality image.

Having bought two other Wii to HDMI convertors that didn't work (the ones that plug into the Wii video socket), this one worked first time with my 2008 Wii Console. On first connection the picture quality wasn't great but switching between the 1080 and 720 modes a couple of times massively improved the quality and it's now really good and stable. Setting the Wii output to 576i also helped. The device is now tucked away behind the Wii console out of site. I used one of the rear USB sockets on the Wii to provide the power to the convertor box. We are now happily playing Baseball in Wii Sports.

Tried a different adapter before buying this item and have to say it is so much better than the first. Connection is straight forward and works really well, good sound and visuals on the tv screen. Worth the money...

Works great, been able to connect my old PS2 to my TV. No real problems, but just make sure it is set to 720p otherwise you get some picture feedback on the screen.

if you are buying this to display an N64, don't bother, the screen shake makes you want to vomit, it works ok for a gamecube though, i got this as a cheap way to display my consoles while waiting for retrotink stock, it works i suppose just don't expect the upscaling to be useful as it says 720p/1080p but it stretches the image and doesn't really upscale, this is my use case with it for others it might vary but for the price, it works ok enough.

My mother has a camera at her front door which plugged into the AV socket on an older TV. However, when we purchased a new smart TV there was no AV socket so we needed this adapter to convert the camera to work in an HDMI socket. It is simply plug and play and does the job just great. It means my mother can now see who is at the door again before deciding whether to answer it or not.

Bought this in August 2024 and has now started to black screen and give a corrupted display, I may just be unlucky and have a faulty unit after just 7 months, but just like to warn prospective buyers that I cannot get in touch with the company to inform them of the problem, so good while it works but no guarantees on how long.
