Lovely cheese, upfront truffle flavour and will last you a good while
Great cheese, great price. If you have a truffle (oil, it's not "real truffle") lover in your life, this is a must buy. You'll tear through it in no time. Very upfront "truffle" flavour and a well-rounded - mature but not sharp - cheddar taste. Bought the 1kg twice now and it's been a hit each time.

Yes this cheese you’ll never go hungry, made just up the road from where I live. Paid excellent price however now you have put up some £4:00 per item would be reluctant too buy any more !!.

Gorgeous Cheese Ruined by Amazon Delivery Practices
Godminster’s Cheddar is absolutely gorgeous. For me, it is, with no hesitation, one of the finest cheeses around. Unfortunately, it is no longer at all fine once it arrives at your home, and this is no fault of Godminster. It is entirely Amazon’s.If given the option to provide a rating for the product, this would be a perfect 5 star cheese. However, since we have no such option and the quality and the experience of a product is necessarily tied to its actual state rather than its ideal, the rating it deserves is a reflection of that.Amazon delivers this product, not a third-party seller on Amazon. Amazon decides that it is somehow appropriate, safe, and sane to ship cheese—a live food product—without any coolant/refrigerant and in a simple, extremely compact cardboard envelope with no padding. The result: the cheese arrives at room temperature, the wax exterior is cracked, and a portion of the cheese is severely dented.Cheese needs to be kept cold, obviously. Cheese is also fragile, obviously. The envelope has no structure and no padding was added, so its not even suitable for hard candy.And to cap off the absurdity of it all, Amazon does not allow for a refund of this damaged product.

Great flavour
Good product, but the two I bought had been packed badly in just a card envelope and they leaked all over the packaging. Hopefully that packing method has been changed by now.

Delicious
Godminster cheese is absolutely delicious a creamy but strong cheddar. Buying this way is economical… it keeps well but in our house it doesn’t last long!

Fabulous cheese
It arrived beautifully packaged with cool jel and lots of wood shavings. A beautiful cheese, strong but buttery with a lovely aftertaste. Dont often bother with reviews but although this was expensive it is well worth it = absolutely delicious.

Not Very Nice
I bought as a gift for my son and family but it was a big disappointment so I have to say that for me it was a complete waste of money. They didn’t eat much of any of the four different types and I felt awful, not only because they underwhelmed but because as a pensioner I wasted all that money.

Presentation.
Good cheese but 'hamper' was a bit pricey and was a box not a hamper like the photo.A good idea for customers would be to obtain at least a kind of wicker tray to present the products. Otherwise very good. Take a tip from TedBaker who go over the top on presentation!
