Awesome model from Philips. This iron heats up very quickly and its build quality is excellent. It is a bit expensive but is fine according to its usage and features. This iron has all the features that an iron should have. Its cable length is also fine. Whatever promise the company has made with this iron, all the features are present in this iron. I am very satisfied with this purchasing. You can go for it.

Products vertical steam function is not working. The seller before sending the product must check whether it's working or not and I have seen many other reviews of other customer and almost most have them had problem with steam function and from above information I can conclude that they are sending defective product and secondly it's return process is very lengthy because appointmet for return pick up is fixed 3 days from the date you called for product to be returned and additional 5-7 days from the day product is picked up, making it a proces of 8 to 10 days for return to be completed and by chance if you miss the call of pick up agent then additional 5 days will be added for appointing next return pick up date thereby making the process of return of in toto of 15 days.Also, amazon does not provide return and replacement policy for this product, believe me I have talked to them 100 times, all they say is that "sir, we are not getting option for replacement here" and to all the person who are reading this review there are 50 percent chances that you will get non-defective product but if you get a defective product from the seller Stonehenge retail then you will suffer like me in returning this product. ALSO I GOT DAMAGED ORIGINAL BOX AND DEFECTIVE PRODUCT FROM THE SELLER (will be sharing the image of damage portion of box).

This one has a larger sole plate and so it can do your clothes in less time. Heating and steam output is really good. I was confused between garment steamer and this one. I don’t regret the purchase because it can get done the work in less time than a garment steamer. Water storage is huge so less refilling.

My earlier usha iron does not go smooth on many clothes and take much time to iron but since i get this my ironing experience is smooth

I bought this stream iron from Philips' 5000 series since I was looking for an iron that would make the job effortless. Ironing is very boring and I don't want to spend more time on it than is necessary.Be aware that it comes with a 15 amp (big) plug. The cord is about 4' long. It is 12" high and weighs 1.2kg, regular small irons weigh half as much.I'm pleased to report that this iron makes the chore effortless. It's big, covers large areas quickly. It heats up rapidly. The water compartment can hold 1/2 litre , making repeated refills redundant.It decalcifies as it heats up and emits steam. I am not sure if auto de-calcification is effective.I have only used it a few times.

If you love ironing, go for it.If you don't like ironing, still go for it.You don't need to pre-water-spray clothes for that laundry/dry cleaner ironing look for your clothes.Very quick heating.Larger water tank.High steam output.Overall, ironing is a pleasure for those who love ironing and less tiresome for those who hate ironing.(Personal Suggestion: I recommend good filter water in case you have a good water filter. That, I guess, will reduce the need for cleaning/de scaling. This suggestion is only personal.)
