Perfect. Nearly full length of tub. Small dimple that fits around drain is a nice touch. Very thick, doesn't trap water underneath. Looks very nice, not cheap or flimsy. Highly recommend.

Bought this mat for older guests' safety as well as to cover up markings on an old tub floor. There is a way to install it so it doesn't move, when it's dry or wet, but there aren't instructions for this process. Wiping down the area where the mat goes with acetone based polish remover did the trick. You rub the area down and then dry it well. Once it's been "treated", you place the mat where you want it and walk all over it to secure it. When I first laid the mat down (on clean, dry tub floor) it seemed to "stick". The next day, the mat was completely loose and would have been dangerous to use! The water had not been turned on since we didn't have guests in the house at the time. After preparing the area with the polish remover (it must contain acetone, by the way), the mat stuck and stayed stuck. Of course, it's a hassle because every time the tub is cleaned (in our case, when guests stay overnight), the whole process must be done again. But if you don't want people injuring themselves in your slippery tub, it's worth the hassle!

I skipped in a shower over 10 years ago, and the result has been horrible back pain I wish on no one. I got a mat for our tub, and it's been great. As long as you remove it to air dry on the side of the tub, it's good. My elderly mom just moved near us last week, so I ordered her one. It got here much faster than expected, and thank to it's size to match a full tub, I don't have to worry about her staying on a smaller mat size. The size is what really makes the difference. Her whole tub bottom is covered. And if she forgets to air dry it, and we need another down the road, at this price, it'll be just fine! Mom will be safe from falls and her feet cushioned!

Tip: If you want to minimize cleaning, simply pull it up immediately after EVERY bath, and optionally give it a quick rinse from the shower. Let it hang dry on a towel rack installed high at the opposite end of the shower, so it drip-dries before the next bath/shower.

We needed this mat for our daughter after surgery to help with slippery showers floors, perfect. Worked great.

This does the trick and it's big enough for our tub. It certainly helps to make footing more secure.
