I nearly lost my mind when I saw this. My daughter is Niffler mad, and hasn't wanted a plush before, because it had no sounds. Though it is a gift, I had a look to make sure there were going to be no tears. The Niffler is very cute, very fluffy. The sounds are wonderful, especially when you turn it upside down to hear the gold fall out, it's extremely motion sensitive and the sound is both long and loud. My only carp is with the design. The Velcro for the battery pocket is right along its back, where it can be clearly seen and felt. There is no actual belly pouch, if there were, some pretend jewels or gold coins could be put in there by little ones for added play value, and the battery Velcro could have been nicely concealed underneath. This was not a particularly cheap toy for what it does, though knowing how much my daughter's going to love it I didn't grudge the price, but I think a little more thought would have made a quite good toy into a really excellent one.

Visited Warner Brothers Harry Potter Tour, which was brilliant, but gifts very overpriced. I really wanted a Dobby but far too expensive so bought this when I got home. It's a real talking point and cI an't stop picking it up...yes, I know I'm a big kid :)
