Simple. Functional. And my plant loves it!
This plant has been everything I had hoped it would be when I purchased it specifically for my elephant ear. Simple set it up in less than a minute and the adjustable height will be perfect for this large, growing plant. I love that the different lighting settings and the timer options provide so much versatility. I think this is a steal for the price, and I will be purchasing more as I grow my “large plant” collection!

Super Little Grow Light To Augment Natural Lighting
The media could not be loaded. Let me start by saying I really like and am happy with these grow lights. I have purchased three so far in about a month and a half after buying my first one, and am planning to buy two more. So I obviously recommend them.I know this is a bit long of a review but I wanted to be thorough and speak to some of the comments in the other reviews so bear with me.First, these lights look very aesthetically pleasing when compared to many grow lights. It doesn’t scream industrial grow tent or anything like that. It makes kind of a pretty halo above my plants. So I’m happy about that. The light is bright but not blinding and illuminates my space nicely at night. I tried to show in the photos about how far the light reaches when placed above a plant.I will say that if you are hoping to illuminate anything above these halo lights you’re not going to find any joy. They really only cast light downward. I was surprised how little the light seems to travel upwards from these, although I’m fine with that.Secondly, the chord is nice and long, and can easily be wound around the pole to keep the wire situation more tidy. The pole is also very long, generously so. It can extend much higher than I anticipated. It could fit in most larger size house plants that I can think of.Thirdly, I see a lot of people in these reviews saying they don’t think these lights are bright enough, but i don’t agree. I think they are very good lights and will probably help your plant in most circumstances.First of all, idk why so many people in the reviews have their poles extended so high above such small plants?!I mean yeah, if you are gonna have your grow light like three feet away from your plant the light is gonna be a lot more diffuse and it’s not going to work as well. The pole is extendable to fit the size of your plant, you don’t need to have the light pole as extended as possible for every plant. If it’s a small plant why are you extending it so far away from it? Of course the leaves are going to reach for it, it’s extremely far away in that circumstance.I first bought one of these and put it on my monstera that I had pulled back away from my windows which was definitely not getting enough light. It was reaching like crazy and wasn’t growing anymore. As soon as I put the first of these lights on it, it shot out three new leaves within a week, so I know it’s helping and doing something. It also helped to harden off one of my older new leaves that just wasn’t hardening.I tried to add a lot of photos of its growth and where I put the light so you can see how close it is, and I’ve had it on my monstera for about a month now.You can see how much it likes it, it’s moved all its leaves to be directly under it. And that’s another thing about keeping it closer to your plant. It’s an effective light but it’s not that powerful. Not so much that I think it would scorch most plants.I would probably keep it a bit higher up and on the shortest timer length for the first few days if I wanted to be safer and give it an adjustment period, (ie like a calathea or something more shade loving) but depending on the plant idk if that would even be necessary. When I got my 2nd and 3rd of these grow lights I just went ahead and plopped one right on my white bird of paradise on the strongest setting for 12 hours right above the leaves. It’s already putting out a new leaf too.Now I will say, if you want to use this in a basement with no windows then yeah, it might not be enough light to grow a big plant year round, it might get the plant over a winter but if you are really in a situation with no natural light then maybe you should consider a higher powered more intense grow light. Also for your more exotic variegated expensive rare plants etc, you might want to make sure to have a back up plan if you get one of these. These may still work but imo if I’m gonna shell out a lot for a plant I would probably pay for a more expensive lighting setup, as expensive plants warrant more lux toys to keep them happy.Imo this is perfect for the person who has a normal plant in a room with mid-to lower indirect natural light that wants to supplement that light, or has a brightly lit room but maybe wants to put a plant in a less than ideal spot in that room. Or for people trying to give more light to plants over winter. One last comment I have is that as you might be able to see in my photos of my monstera, the plant likes this light so much that it’s large leaves are trying to press themselves up to the light and that does cause the light to be blocked off from some of the lower foliage. I don’t think this will be an issue for all plants but for ones like my monstera it might not hurt to use two of them if you can.tldr: it’s a great useful supplemental grow light that looks nice and is definitely helping my plants put out new leaves and grow. I recommend them!

Functional, but missing parts
Pros: this light is so pretty! I've only had it a day, so I can't speak to its function, but others seem to think it works well. The cord is very long.Cons: my package arrived without the plastic stakes that go on the bottom of the poles, effectively shortening them by 6 inches. I've just shoved the poles in the dirt, but it's not very stable. I'm Disappointed by that. Also, there are small lights on the controller that indicates that the power and timer are on. These little controller lights are independent of the grow light, and stay on even if the grow light is off. I have the grow lights in my bedroom and prefer it to be pitch black. These lights, while small, disturb the darkness. I'm going to wrap the controller in electrical tape to block the light. These lights are unnecessary and bothersome.

Great lights
The lights are great and even look super cute on the plant. I have it on my monstera and I did have to tie it to the plant pole because it was a bit wobbly when extended to the fullest. Honestly that was no big deal tho. Definitely will be getting more.

Surpassed expectations
I have been so impressed with this light. Taking it out of the box, it feels a little cheap, but it works great. I wish it were taller and a little bit more sturdy. I added some thick sticks at the bottom to lengthen it and hold it in place, then I also tied it to my fiddle fig tree. Even though it has different colored light “frequencies,” it doesn’t give off the hues you usually see with grow lights. It has to be really close to the leaves for it to really work so keep that in mind. Since getting this, my fiddle figure has grown a new leaf at least once a week; and those leaves still look really healthy and shiny. It truly is a great value for how much it cost.

Amazing!
I love these! They are a lot more aesthetically pleasing than most plant lights, which I appreciate. I also really like that the brightness is adjustable and there’s 3 different timer options. Easy to set up and fits pretty much any sized plant, you can make them as short or as tall as you need and they extend pretty dang far. My plants seem to be liking them too, they’re putting out new leaves. I’d buy again, good for putting plants in less than ideal spots!

Perfect little plant grow light.
These little plant grow lights are exactly what my plants needed. There is hardly any assembly needed. The height is adjustable , but the thing I like most of all is that they have a timer. Just set it and forget it. What a great buy.

Used as a critter light
First let me say the price is great. I use these lights for my scorpion and centipede inclosures and the work great. I have live plants in them and the plants are thriving. Plus the timer is set up for 12hr, there is no issues with the timer settings working.

Your plants will thank you
Love this so much, I bought one to try then went back for 2 more. Unlike some reports, the bottom black piece (with the pointy end) will fit into the pole. You just need to push very firmly, which is what you want for stability. The timer function does not work well - its internal clock continues to move earlier and earlier in the morning. So we no longer use the timer function, but rather just turn it on when we get up in the morning and turn it off when we go to bed during these long summer days.Love the settings for brightness and the flexibility of the light head. Moves in all directions and can cover 2 plants at once if you position it high enough. You have to experiment with how bright and how high or low to position the light head as there are no instructions, and I could not find much guidance online. If you see signs of burning (I assume brown leaf tips is one - I got those), just adjust the light head higher or dim the light.I generally rotate and/or adjust the light head weekly for coverage to different leaves. My Green Princess pushed out new leaves immediately and is positively thriving after 6 weeks under the lamp. Now i have it over my snake plants too. Snakes are supposed to do well in dim light conditions, but the fact is they prefer light, and are doing better with this lamp.

As per description
All features as described. Nice height adjustment, timer works fine. My only complain would be the color of the light. The pictures show more like a warm-yellow light, but definitely is a white-fluorescent light.
