THIS is my sweetener
I have found my new sugar substitute! I've tried this powder and another brand's liquid & this is the one I have subscribed to. (BTW: Make sure to dig around for the scoop. It's in there, but I had a hard time finding it... PROS: + It's affordable (compared to others - including the liquid one I tried) + There is ZERO after taste. I am really sensitive to flavors & alluose is the only one I know of that is not bitter, cooling, offensively sweet if I get it on my hands, etc. The closest one to this was a combo sweetener that was fine until I had to inhale. Every time I took a breath for the next hour, there was a slight cooling sensation on my tongue and in my throat. + This can be used as is or I can make a liquid with it. I like the powder for baking/cooking, and the liquid for adding to coffee and tea. + The bag seals up well. + There is a little scoop included - but I had to dig, dig, dig to find it! LOL + I did not experience any stomach issues, even though I added some to my coffee and tea all day, every day for about a week. + GMO-free - which is very important to me. + If this isn't as sweet as I'd like - esp with my coffee -I can add just a pinch of brown sugar & that does it for me. CONS: - This is much finer than expected. I thought it would be crystals/granules. It is very much like powdered sugar. I have to be careful when measuring it out. - I do have to be careful not to overuse this. I have CKD stage 3b & allulose is (mostly) not metabolized & is excreted through urine. This could add a bit more strain to my kidneys, so I just limit my intake. Allulose is safer for my kidneys than sugar. - I have to use a little more than I'd like to get my sweet kick. - It is not as sweet as sugar. Some people say that it is 70% as sweet as sugar. I think it's more like 60% based on what I need to use. - The bag is a bit of waste. It is 2lbs of product, but there is a lot of settling. It could be in a bag half the size, Overall, I am SO happy I found this because it helps me cut down on or, in some cases, cut OUT - sugar. I keep half the bag as is, and make a liquid with the other half.

Very good product!
Great product, if you enjoy the taste of allulose. It is not quite as sweet as some of the artificial sweeteners, but one of the better ones. Great price for the six pound bag.

Best “tasting” alternative to sugar I’ve found
I use this product with sugar (2 parts allulose to1 part white sugar) to sweeten iced tea (to cut down on sugar intake due to Type II). Works! No weird flavor. No one notices it isn’t all sugar. Dissolves easily. Only thing — iced tea does look a little cloudy compared to 100% sugar sweeten iced tea. Bakes well at 1-to-1 ratio with sugar. Great option if taste of other sweeteners really bothers you as it does me.

Great alternative to sugar
Single ingredient allulose although you must use a lot for a sweet touch like sugar. Great alternative

The Best for sweets baking
Made pecan stickie-buns and they are delicious!!! Not too sweet and I used it just like sugar. It even melted and got caramely (sp?). These are next day but they warm up and become sticky-gooie goodness.

Allulose Did Not Work For Me Unfortunately….
The recent research of the negative impact of Erythrotol lead my husband and I to make a change in sweeteners to this Allulose. Both Allulose and Erythrotol do not alter blood glucose because they are not metabolized in the body. Both Allulose and Erythrotol have a sweetness of about 70% of sugar and are low calorie. They are comparable in price. This Allulose was the cheapest per ounce at the time of my receiving it. Why Allulose is better than Erythrotol: You can use Allulose in baking and it will even carmelize. The texture of Allulose is almost a powder so it mixes into everything easily. Both of these sweeteners can give stomach upset if you have too much of them IF you have the kind of body where that occurs. Unfortunately I do have that issue so now I’m trying monk fruit sweetener instead.. However, my husband did not have a stomach issue with Allulose but was frustrated by how much weaker the Allulose is than stevia. He said that he just kept adding more and more Allulose and it just never seemed to make his coffee sweeter. So, now we’re trying monk fruit. That one seems more sweet than Allulose and doesn’t upset my stomach. But it still is less sweet than stevia and has an unusual aftertaste to me. Oh! I measured the spoon that comes with this Allulose. It is a teaspoon and a half. If you are accustomed to sugar, this spoon is convenient because That is so convenient because replacing a teaspoon of sugar is the same amount of sweetness as a teaspoon and a half of Allulose.

great buy, good product
great price for bulk allulose, excellent non-caloric sugar replacement, use just like table sugar (slightly less sweet) perfect for carb control for diabetics

Disappointed
The flavor is good, but after adding extra to make a pitcher of ice tea it still is very weak. Hardly sweet at all. We don't make very sweet tea but this was very weak. It also causes a lot of GI issues. We had our hopes up but we will go back to Splenda Natural Stevia in the 19oz tubes.

While the product itself is fine, I was looking for a granulated version and when the picture showed the granulated allulose on a spoon I was sure I had found it. I had not. This is just powder like any of the others.
