We do quite a few long haul flights for our holidays, and grew tired of the headphones given out by cabin crew; they're uncomfortable and you cannot hear the move/music over the general cabin noise. It works a treat, pairing is simple (best to test it at home before boarding the plane). You'll need to buy an adaptor that fits the dual 3.5mm plug on the plane, but that's it. I charged the device ahead of a recent 17 hour flight to Japan and it lasted for the whole journey. When researching these gadgets, I noticed people saying there was a lag between seeing people speak on the screen and hearing the sound. If this gadget has a lag, I didn't notice. I really can't praise it enough, it's small, holds a charge, is simple to use and even comes with it's own little carry case. One of the best things I have bought for a flight; allowing me to use my headphone's noise cancelling feature for 17 hours is the best ever!

These are fantastic and make a long haul flights onboard media unbelievably better. Using AirPod max’s the audio was clear and excellent quality and with noise isolation you barely knew you were on a plane. Only marked down due to the price which is steep given so many cheaper alternatives available, however the battery life and charge times need to be considered plus these do Bluetooth transmit and receive so they can also be used in cars/for speakers without BT compatibility.

The Airfly Pro is a lovely product which looks like it has been designed by Apple and looks very good together with my Airpods Pro. It comes with a soft bag and USB-C charging wire which is big enough to store everything including my Airpods. The Airfly paired right away with my Airpods and no fuss. I was eager to test the Airfly before my upcoming 9 hour flight so I tested it on the headphone jack of my home computer. I checked that I had the latest firmware of my Airpods Pro which is 4C165 at the time of writing. I had read that some problems had been reported with Airpods Pro and low volume issues but I need not have been worried at all. I played a few Youtube videos with spoken words and music and found the sound to be perfect. I could turn the volume to maximum and I found no distortion and it was more than loud enough. I am more than pleased with this product which will enable me to watch inflight movies wireless on my Airpods. Absolutely brilliant!

I travelled from the UK to America with United and wasn’t sure if the in flight entertainment screens would be Bluetooth enabled or not. I always prefer to use my own headphones as they are vastly superior to the earbuds that airlines provide. I read conflicting reports on the availability of Bluetooth on United planes, so to hedge my bets I bought an AirFly. I’m very glad I did because when ny holiday finally rolled around, it turned out that neither of my United flights had Bluetooth. But thanks to the AirFly, all I had to do was plug it in and my headphones worked perfectly with the IFE. Connecting was simple, the sound quality was crystal clear, volume was nice and loud, and the battery lasted for the duration of my 11 hour flight and beyond. The AirFly isn’t cheap and I debated whether or not to buy it due to that, but I’m so glad I did because it solves the problem it’s designed to solve perfectly. Also it’s a one-time purchase that guarantees Bluetooth connectivity for every flight you take from now on, so when you consider it as a long term investment it’s really worth the price overall. The majority of planes still don’t have Bluetooth connectivity so it’s something I will use for a while to come.
