Is what I expected, but I researched it first.
I've had this a while now, taken said rifle out a number of times. Pretty much what I'd expect from an actual A2 stock. I wasn't going to write a review but I think there's a lot of misconceptions and misunderstandings. I also notice if you get one now it's from a different supplier, so if you don't get that trap door send it back; you're doing everyone a favor. First, no, it comes with no mounting hardware. If you're somehow looking for one that comes with a buffer tube on Amazon... STOP! Not gonna happen. The Tube is an integral component to the function of what you're using this on (the stock is technically not) and as such cannot be sold here. You absolutely must get the spacer and longer screw for a standard rifle-length tube, which can be sold here. If you somehow work this on without a spacer you'll possibly destroy it first time you use it. It does not have a metal buttplate. Of course it doesn't. It's an A2 stock. If you need it to have a metal plate you need an A1 stock. They got away from the metal plate in the A2 revision because... rust! Some early A2 stocks from Colt had metal plates but this was entirely done away with by the time the A3 came along. "Feels kinda cheap." Yes. The A2 revision was also an exercise in cost reduction. Properly installed, however, they are perfectly serviceable. Mine has been with me places and is totally fine. So when I read 'Airsoft quality' I really wonder did you install it to a rifle-length tube with spacer?

Good quality
I knew I was taking a gamble, since some of these can be chincy. This one feels much like the real thing. Very solid and has the right feel. Very happy.

Worth it
I use them on all my firearms. It saves me from any dings that may accumulate from moving items in my safe.

Does not come with any mounting hardware.
Stock looks well made but does NOT come with the buffer spring and hardware to mount if your changing over from a carbine stock..

Super nice for the price!
This thing is way sturdy! I always wanted an old-school-looking AR and this did the trick for cheap as heck! Love it! P.S. I had an interaction with their customer service (not for any issues I had with the product) and I will just say, they are way beyond excellent in customer service!
