Ripped off
Seriously I bought the book under a different title and read it in 2017. These retitled books should be marked before you buy them. Not when you get to the prologue. It’s Shadows in the Night. Wasted money. Beware

Great story but. . .
I really like Heather Graham, in fact I think I've read almost everything available from this author. However, while this was a good read I felt like there was something missing. Because of my past experience reading HG I look forward to storylines and characters that are superbly developed, motives with a twist and background that is completely researched. But the two most recent books haven't met the standards that the author's previous bodies of work displayed. It's disappointing bc I really enjoy Heather Graham. What happened? Is someone else writing the books? Is there too little time between books? Is HG getting tired of writing?

Heather Graham is a must-read author.
Heather Graham never disappoints. Her characters are both believable and charismatic. She presents realistic, engrossing scenarios that leave you guessing until the end. This is the second book in a trilogy and I do recommend it be read as a trilogy. Each book can be enjoyed separately, though.

Decent story line but poorly written
I have always enjoyed Heather Graham, but this book is distinctly different. Makes me think that her publisher is recycling books that she wrote as a teenager, before she was really good. Others have suggested that maybe she's just trying to write too many books in a year. Whatever the problem, it definitely isn't working for her. I'm not happy that I spent my money on this one!

A Real Page Turner
This book had a lot of twists and turns. It was great. I really enjoyed reading the book. I was very surprised at the end and I'm not fooled often on who did it. But I was this time. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did. I've never read a bad Heather Graham book

Good Beach Read
Most of Heather Graham's books can be slightly unnerving...but the story is usually so engaging, one can't stop reading until you know whodunit! Not this one. It is still a good relaxing story of romance and mystery surrounded in Egyptian archeology and mummies! As stated in the title, a good read for the beach!

Heather never fails !!!❤️
Heather Graham ALWAYS meets my expectations. Her mysteries are fun. I feel like I am friends with the Finegans and the whole Krewe of Hunters......I anxiously await each new book.

I enjoyed the romance
I am interested in Egyptology, so I thought this was a great book. The romance between Hayley and Micah was an added bonus. The outcome was surprising and the killer was diabolical.

I love a good mummy’s curse
However, while the curse was mentioned, it was done so in a rather off hand manner and was never utilised to great effect. Yet, apart from that rather disappointing plot device fail, I did enjoy the murder mystery aspect of this story. It was well set up and executed, with enough potential killers out there that the red herrings did their job admirably and the identity of who killed the Professor was rather well disguised - up until about 2 pages before the reveal when all the chief suspects ended up in the one location. Then it wasn’t hard to see who did it.The romance portion of the story was okay. It wasn’t great, and I’m not a fan of insta-love, so I just didn’t buy it. However I was there more for the museum setting and the mystery than the romance so I’m not too disappointed. In all, not a bad story, just way too short. If the romance was expanded on, the mummy’s curse, and the original murder fleshed out, then this would have made a great full length novel.3.5 stars

Book Lover
Didn’t realize when I ordered it that this is the "thriller" version of Harlequin Romances. Very light reading. Finished in hours... Not bad for what it is, but not mind bending in any sense.
