Picture this!
They say a picture is better than a thousand words, well, this little book proves the point.This is a great collection of photos from the 1950's.Those that remember that period will find this a trip now memory lane. Those of you young enough to have only heard rumor of that gray, postwar period then this is a fantastic way to discover an era that saw Britain drag itself up by its boot straps after a terrible war and start to prosper - with the help of rock and roll!

An interesting little book, and ideal if your stuck as to what to buy someone, it can be 'flicked' through and is a great conversation piece with all the photo's of the era, would definitely buy more, great value too.

lots of amazing pics
Excellent series of books. I bought a few for parents and they love them, as do i. Full of amazing pics. The book isnt too heavy or big but full of decent size photos giving wealth of info in form of pics.

Excellent birthday gift... beautiful photos that reminded my Mum of 'yesteryears!' Good value and it's compact size makes it an ideal gift for someone who doesn't have much space left on their book shelf.
