I have a sweet rescue, who is very reactive to strangers, new dogs, wheeled objects, blowing leaves, etc. We live in an apartment. I felt like a muzzle was a good precaution, just in case, especially when there are lots of other dog or young kids around. We tried several cloth muzzles and my dog got out of them in seconds and just ended up more riled up. This muzzle has a nice cage so that he can sniff, eat, or drink but not bite anyone. I took off the strap that goes between his eyes and left the one that goes around his head. He doesn’t love it and has managed to get it off when he was very upset (but it might be my fault for removing the second strap). However, most days he gives me sad eyes but willingly puts his snout in at walk time. I would recommend this muzzle for supervised times. I would not leave a dog alone with this muzzle on.

Works well. we removed the middle strap (kept sliding over her eye when she runs her face on the grass because she doesn’t love muzzles 😝) … and she has chomped no one while wearing this muzzle! (Yay) 🙌

Bought this for my 75 pound dog. It fits great, but there are some things I’ve noticed. The straps over his eyes are a little big and sometimes fall over into his eyes. He breathes pretty good in it, but in the hot FL weather it always needs to be cleaned after use since its coated with drool. It’s easy to use and worth the money for my reactive dog.
