Q: Can this be operated with only one hand?

No!! Don’t get it!! Piece of crap. Works like a mousetrap and pinched my finger.

Q: Most packing tape refill rolls I see in the store are 1.88 in. — will this gun work with that size roll of tape?

This will work with most of the tapes mostly clear tapes. It won’t work well with filament tapes. You may need to use scissors to cut the filament tape not the gun blade.

Q: I need replacement blades how can i get the replacement blades ? I have 3 of these tape guns and none will cut anymore, please advise

Haven’t experienced that yet, however the tape guns are great

Q: How do I load the tape roll?

It's a bit difficult. You have to manually raise the steel arm, insert the roll on the arm and insert the roll between the two little pegs Make sure the sticky side of the tape is facing down. It works well after fighting with that tight roll holder.
