This works for my use case
We needed a semi-permanent spring through summer solution to rainy years. Water runs down the hill from the neighborhood and if it rains hard enough the water runs up against our foundation and the basement leaks. This is due to previous owners adding too much fill to the lawn when they removed a swimming pool in the 90s. I figured how to stop the problem from happening by using Quick Dams that puff up on demand. But the price of those is too high compared to owning this reusable PVC tube. The material is nice enough. I was mostly concerned with how thin it was, but it's reinforced PVC kind of like the floor of a nice tent or a life raft. It's nicer than your kid's inflatable wading pool, so my worries were relieved when I took it out of the box. It comes with two black pieces which I assume are patches. The 'wings' it comes with I will not be using, but they're yellow and can be kept to use as patches. I'm sure rubber cement will work well to fix this if needed. Most of the negative reviews are people trying to stop a one-time event and then drain and remove the thing. I plan on inflating in April and leaving until July. I didn't have any problems filling it with my garden nose. Make sure the filler it pointed up and that it's at the highest level and you can get the whole thing to fill all the way. I got the yellow one because it won't get as hot in the sun hopefully, but now we have a giant 24 foot lawn banana. But it's a necessary evil to keep my house dry for the time being until I win the lottery and can call out heavy earth moving companies to swale and tile my back yard.

Great For Hurricane Preparation
I have a small home in coastal Florida. I purchased one 24' and two 12' in preparation for the 2025 hurricane season. Because the 2025 hurricane season hasn't started yet I haven't had to use the products. I will say that the three arrived with a sample of the product within the boxes. The product sample is very thick. Like really thick!! Impressive! This year I'm feeling somewhat calmer because with an approaching hurricane I won't have to spend valuable time looking for sand bags or the back pain of moving so many back before and after the hurricane season. One less thing I have to stress over. Also, with proper storage I will be able to reuse them the following year(s). I am confident that I made a great choice and they are a great value for the money. The only thing I regret is that the door size water dams weren't available.

Love this!
This is so nice for peace of mind with water! They are easy to fill up and use, however, emptying them isn’t as easy just because they are hard to move when full, but that’s to be expected. I’ll take water prevent over ease of emptying any day!

Great value and well made.
Doing home remodeling and I needed a temporary barrier to keep rainwater from running off the new patio into the house. It works well and seems well made with durable material and strong seams. It needs to lie perfectly flat--if you butt the end it against a wall or run a cord or hose underneath it will leak--just have some towels and sandbags ready. It's a good option expecially given the price, and I was glad to be able to empty it out, roll it up and fit it back in it's original box when done.I do wish the filler nozzle had an adaptor to drain it through a regular garden hose. When full it's impossible to move, but you may not want to drain it where you original set it up to control water. (Actaully you don't need to fill it 1005, I fill mine about one third.)Also leaks around the end when butted against a wall. Have some supplemental sandbags ready

Outstanding barrier
The media could not be loaded. This barrier is very effective and sturdy. We had rain all day and it never got into my garage. However, I made a few mistakes setting it up. I didn't fill it up or clip on the pieces (photo 2) for weights to begin with like you see in the 1st photo with filled buckets on them so it rolled down when people drove by and I had to snag a neighbor to move it a little because even half filled with water it is impossible for a skinny female like me to budge it. I did try and strained a few muscles or ribs. My neighbor even struggled with it and it never got into the position in photo 2 but was useful anyway. Emptying it is also a difficult endeavor. It should have an opening and cover on both ends. I feel very safe and protected with this. Last years flood was too high for it, over 10" but it will handle most normal flooding. I highly recommend this item!

Does Not Work!
The bags float and busted through my garage door. Which we now have to replace. We recommended this product to our neighbors and none worked. The literally floated away. We can’t find 1/2 of them. We ordered the fill nozzle and it’s not the correct size for the large bag. At a minimum you should refund everyone who purchased these things. There is no way one ounce of testing went into this product. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

Does work!!!
I purchased this to stop water between houses and save mine during hurricane rains / flooding. I have another from same company to keep my garage safe (which worked during Helene). You need to put something such as a brick underneath to help keep it stable once water is in, you can’t move it.
