ROYAL CANINLight Weight Care in Gravy Adult Wet Cat Food 85g (Pack of 12)

I switched my ragdoll to this food 2 weeks before she had to have a tooth removed. She had no problems switching over quickly despite having a sensitive tummy, and liked the taste. Along with having her dry food in a treat ball and limiting her treats, it did wonders and she lost half a kilo before the op! :) Pricey maybe, but worth it to keep your cat at a healthy weight.

My cat was never satisfied with the kitty food I purchased from the local pet store as she has a problem when it comes to her food, she was dressed a couple of years ago and her hormones go into over drive then she constantly meowed for food. The vet recommended I fed her with the Royal canin dry mix to begin with but again, Kitty would end up stealing her brother's food, again I asked the vet what I could feed her with instead of the dry food which didn't make her feel as if she was full up. The Royal Canin Light pouch of wet food is helping, although it's a little costly it's worth it since it is satisfying the cat's appetite and that is a relief as she is a tortieshell cat who have a demanding nature.

A good product. Our cats like it best and it helps with weight control. However you can’t buy it in bulk here on Amazon. Only very small packs are available which makes ordering expensive and inconvenient.

We have a cat who begs and begs and begs for food constantly - these pouches (and their corresponding dry food) have been an absolute God send. He's put on a lot of weight since we adopted him, and were advised that he should be placed on a diet by the vet who recommended this particular brand and type. Since we've had him on this, we've actually been feeding him MORE, but he's lost almost a KG in a couple of months. The vet is very pleased with his progress and the cat is very pleased with his extra helpings.The only thing I'd be aware of is that you'll need to feed your cat 3/4 of these a day, so is a little costly, but as it's good for their health and happiness it's definitely worth it :)

My British Blue cat is always very hungry and would like to become fat so I chose this to reduce her intake but it upset her stomach and gave her Diarrhoea.

Can’t really say much at present as my cat has only been on the diet food for 2 weeks and it’s meant to take 8weeks before you start losing the weight. My other cat that is not on the diet seems to want to though lol as she try’s to steel her brother food

It is the only food my cat will constantly eat, apart from the wild-life he catches. He loves the taste of the gravy. It may be a bit pricey compared to other cat foods , but worth it .

We've had great success with this food. Our male cat had repeating bladder infections due to being overweight. We've been using this along with a similar dry food. With this and added daily exercise (play!), he has lost a significant amount of weight in a single month. He's in great health now :) The only down side to this food is that it's a little difficult to get out of the package. The jelly variety of the same brand is much easier to work with.
