Northstar Games | Evolution | Card Game | Ages 12+ | 2-6 Players | 60 Minutes Playing Time

Evolution is one of my favourite games - I started by playing it on my iPad and really enjoyed the gameplay so I decided to pick up a physical copy, and I'm glad I did. The cards for the species you're making in the game look great, the other tokens and pieces look nice and have a solid feel to them, and the dinosaur piece that tracks whose turn it is to start the round is just a fun piece of kit to have around. The game itself is fairly simple, you can even play with just two people so you don't always have to get a big group together, and the full session will wrap up in under an hour, if you're taking your time and strategising.

This game is excellent!, really good replay value whether you want to be a herbivore or carnivore. You have to adapt to any situation if ever someone turns their card from a herbivore to a carnivore and try to eat meat as their way to victory. When a herbivore, ensure you have long neck and burrowing on all your cards, this ensures you cannot be eaten by a carnivore. However, throughout the game, tactics could change so you must think if you need to change your cards If a carnivore appears, the best way is to put lots of defensive traits down (defensive hearding + symbiosis + warning call) If you want to be a carnivore, the pack hunting card is a must I would say, ambush is also good because it counteracts warning call. Overall a great game, lots of replayability, there is also an iOS version of the game

A great strategy game, lots of replayability as so many different dynamics at play depending on what the cards give you and what the other players go for. Easy to learn and teach people who haven't played it before.

Great quality pieces and easy to get the hang of. Spent hours playing this already.

Great little game

Truly, and excellent game, rules seem much more complicated than they actually are. I'd recommend just playing a test round through the rules, rather than trying to understand before playing.

Es un excelente juego para pasar el rato, cada juego es único e inesperado totalmente recomendable. de preferencia jugar con 4 personas de 5 puede ser un caótica al principio pero ya cuando todos saben jugar es algo excelente.

Es un juego de estrategia que también educa. Pero además es muy divertido y apto para toda la familia. Muy recomendable.
